i dont think i realized how much the kingkiller chronicle is about economics and money until this reread. rothfuss is providing a scathing critique of social class, abuse of power, the frivolous use of money, the trap of poverty, the price of education to try and rise to a different status.... rothfuss is far from being subtle and yet i had not really processed how much kvothes (and kotes) story is about fucked up economics and abuse of political power. its almost didactic. this definitely influenced me and it is interesting to read this as an adult and realize in just how many ways

Definitely not me changing stuff up just because I found one more artist I love to death

I wanted to try and draw Kvothe from Kingkiller Chronicles so that's one attempt, idk if I'll stick with that looks but I like it (I'm around 70% in on The Name of the Wind and I just love it. Kvothe is a dumbass tho (and I love him for that))

And since I drew one redhead I had to draw my other favorite. I wanted to have that slight difference with Kamui's hair being a bit more on the red side and orange for Kvothe
