Just a side note before you read the ficlet, it honestly doesn't feel like day three to me 😞. I've been having to write two ficlets a day, as I can't post anything next week. I also write two fics the day prior to prepare for the next day (ex: I wrote Mumbo and Grian's ficlets today), so it feels all out of whack 😖
Anyways, behold! Tango! (Hurt/Comfort also, just a heads up) (Also, POLL UNDER CUT!!!)
The pale oak forest was beautiful at night.
Sure, people were still afraid to come in here, even after most of the creaking hearts had been removed to be used, but Tango found that as a plus.
There was no one there to see him, ask him what was wrong.
No one there to see as the blaze born broke down, tears already spilling from his eyes as he sat beneath the furthest tree.
You’re a homewrecker.
The thought flashed through his mind like a bolt of lightning, and he curled further into himself.
He had all of his memories back. He remembered every season. He remembered how violently Scott had fought after losing Jimmy. He remembered the love on Jimmy’s face at the ranch when Tango had been furiously apologizing for almost getting them killed, how soft he had been.
They were happier together.
The guilt plagued his mind, forcing him into a spiral.
Scott loved Jimmy. Jimmy loved Scott. Scott remembered Jimmy. Scott probably hates me. Why would he feel any different? I stole his husband. He hates me, and Jimmy probably hates me, and everyone probably-
“Tango?”
Tango was brought out of his spiral, and his head shot up.
Grian.
He probably hated him too...
Seeing how distressed he was, Grian walked over and sat down next to Tango.
“What’s wrong, buddy?” Grian asked, one of his wings coming behind the two of them. Tango unconsciously shifted away from the touch, wiping his eyes.
He took a little too long to answer, as Grian's concern seemed to grow. After a while, he squeaked out a weak “They hate me…”
Grian tilted his head, confusion flooding his eyes.
“Who does, bud?”
Tango went quiet again for a few seconds again.
“Jimmy, Scott, probably everyone…” He mumbled, pulling his knees up to his chest and dropping his forehead onto them.
“Why would they?” Grian asked, cautiously placing a hand on Tango’s shoulder. He didn’t move away.
“Double life…"
“Why would they hate you because of double life?”
Tango took a moment to look at Grian, his eyes red from crying.
“Jimmy was happier with Scott, Grian… I’m a damn homewrecker…"
Grian made a soft “oh” sound, before looking away and dropping his hand from Tango's shoulder. Of any season, Grian remembered 3rd Life the best, and he had seen how happy Scott and Jimmy were.
After a long pause, Grian seemed to get an idea, and he nudged Tango.
“Scott left Pearl for Cleo.”
“I know.”
Grian returned Tango’s gaze, eyes softer.
“So he’s a homewrecker too.”
Tango paused, looking back down.
“So? They still proba-”
“If Scott was mad at you, he probably would’ve already shown signs of it. Same with Jimmy. Same with the other winners, same with anyone.” Grian cut him off, determination laced into his voice. It was Tango’s turn to return the other’s gaze, and he seemed confused.
“Scott isn’t quiet with his anger, and neither is Timmy. Think, have you heard Scott say anything aggressive to you through the seasons? Or anything even passive-aggressive?” Grian asked, tilting his head before adding "Minus when he was red, of course."
Tango thought back. He thought back to all of their conversations, especially back in Double Life.
“Not really…”
“So do you think Scott is mad at you?”
“...Maybe a little bit?”
Grian sighed, but it was half-hearted. “Yeah, maybe a little bit. But he definitely doesn’t hate you.”
Tango went quiet after that. Maybe Scott didn’t hate him. And Jimmy was definitely more forgiving than Scott.
“So, neither of them hate me?” Tango asked, and Grian shook his head, a soft, reassuring smile coming to his face.
“If Scar forgives me, then Scott probably forgives you.”
Tango nodded, before leaning over and flopping his head onto Grian’s shoulder. The avian laughed, before hooking his arm around Tango and hugging him.

So, one day, my sister learned I was getting into Unstable Universe and LifeSteal SMP. She learned that because I saw an edit on her phone about Parrot and Wifies and she learned that the phrase "It's all yours" triggers me.

Last night, as we were going to bed, she said out of no where "Scott, what are you doing?"
It took me a second, but SHE WAS REFERENCING THE END OF DOUBLE LIFE!!!
Then she fucking did it.
She said something along the lines of "When I learned I had to kill Shelby to turn back-" before I got up and threatened to strangle her 😁
I went over to her earlier today, she quoted "It's all yours", I acted like I was going to strangle her again, yada yada.
As I'm leaving, though, she has the NERVE to say "Did you get all your anger out?"
...
So what Scott said to Apo after she killed him three times.
Day two of Lifer A Day June: Favorite Winner Finale!! Mine is Martyn's 😁
Martyn stood in front of Scott and Impulse. He stood there like them, discussing how they would end the season.
Martyn was standing there like he could hear them.
He stood there like he could understand what they were saying.
He was standing there as if Ren’s voice wasn’t in his ear, telling him to kill both of them.
Instead of listening, Martyn shook his head to clear it, trying again to focus. Scott was speaking now, his face plagued with worry. “Impulse, it can’t be me! The W-” He cut himself off, sighing. “They won’t be happy. The ghosts.”
Martyn tilted his head at his teammate, raising an eyebrow. He’s never seen Scott so distressed.
“Scott, I’m going to die in two minutes. It’ll probably have to be you. I mean,” Impulse paused, turning to look at Martyn. “It could also be you, but, no offense, I feel like Scott is stronger than-”
Impulse’s voice was fading out, and Martyn could hear Ren again.
“Me hand, those who have wronged us deserve nothing more than to be killed by ye hand. Ye need to defend ye honor, stand up for-”
Martyn must’ve shown some emotion on his face, because when he blinked, Scott was in front of him, concerned.
“Martyn? Are you alright?” He asked, holding the blonde's hand.
“Oh, uh, yeah, I’m fine man.” He replied, squeezing Scott’s hand and letting go. Scott didn’t look all that convinced, and neither did Impulse.
“You sure? You look.. Almost scared.” He asked, taking a step forward.
As he did, though, Martyn could hear him again.
“Protect our honor, me hand! They have wronged us! Those who have wronged us shall pay the ultimate price.”
Martyn closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.
Scott and Impulse.
Or Ren.
It was like the decision was made for him.
Before Martyn could stop himself, he pushed Scott away, grabbing his bucket of lava and pouring it over him.
“Nah, I don’t want to play these silly games!”
Screams of agony, pure agony, rung out as the lava hit Scott’s skin.
Martyn couldn’t even hear him.
He was too focused on Impulse, who was running.
And Martyn loved a good chase.
“I wanna do it this way, I wanna do it exactly this way!” Martyn shouted, running towards Impulse.
Time, time, time-
“It doesn’t matter if you’re a mean gill, or a bad boy, or a neighbor, or a clocker!” He got probably three hits on Impulse, before the demon fell the the ground. Lightning struck behind them, and the screaming stopped.
Time, time, time-
“None of these niceties, Impulse.”
BLOOD-
“This is a death match for a reason.”
Lightning struck, and Impulse was gone.
And Martyn came back to his senses, stumbling back.

If you had asked someone in the Life Series what they thought of when they thought of Lizzie, there was an answer you would likely get from almost everyone:
A whimsical, pink fae that caused as much chaos they could.
Well, most of them would just be describing her.
In fact, Lizzie caused so much chaos that it was what she was doing at that exact moment. Of course, it was in her own way.
See, Skizz’s birthday was coming up soon. So what better way to help celebrate than to bake him twenty cakes and drop them all off the day before?
No matter how time consuming and overwhelming it was…

The fae in question was currently sitting in her kitchen, hair tied back into a messy ponytail as she tried to smooth out the icing on the cake she had currently been trying to frost for about fifteen minutes. Her bangs kept falling into her face, and she was seconds away from cutting them off.
Joel had long since went up to bed, kissing her forehead and telling her not to stay up too late. That was an hour ago.
When Lizzie was finally finished with the cake in front of her, she sat back, sighing in relief.
BEEP BEEP
Lizzie groaned, standing up to go check the three cakes in the oven. Sure enough, they all seemed to be baked thoroughly, so she grabbed her oven mittens and pulled them out to cool. Brushing her bangs out of her face, Lizzie walked back over to the table, picking up her piping bag again and sliding another cake over.
About thirty minutes later, while still working on the cake, Lizzie felt a pair of arms snake around her waist and a chin rest on her head.
“Hi, Joel.” She greeted.
“Babe, do you realize what time it is?” Joel asked, placing a kiss into his wife’s hair.
Lizzie was quiet for a moment, placing down her bag. “What time is it…?”
“It is,” a pause as Joel checked the clock, “Midnight, babe.”
Lizzie sighed, brushing her bangs out of her face again. She had really taken on a hard task, hadn’t she?
“I’m sorry, I’ve just been on an adrenaline rush since I got the cake idea, and-”
“Babe, just come to bed. I can clean all of this up.”
While Lizzie would normally scold Joel for interrupting her, there was no more energy in her to fight with him at this point. “Alright.” She sighed, putting one hand on Joel’s.
They stayed like that for a moment, before Joel pulled back and Lizzie stood from her stool. Immediately, she was pulled into a soft kiss, Joel’s hand pulling her closer.
Lizzie practically melted, fatigue weighing her down. Joel was always such a good kisser, so polite yet oh-so confident. It rivaled Lizzie’s uncertainty violently, and it was beautiful.
Joel pulled back first, placing another kiss on his wife’s forehead before slipping his hand away to clean up the supplies.
As Lizzie was heading up to their shared room, she could hear her husband calling out to her.

Shelby takes the role of Martyn. I liked this until I realized this means she dies in the finale. I dislike this fact.
Martyn takes the role of Cherri. Waiting for who to come back?
Cherri takes the role of Louis (rip). She is cherrifire.
Louis takes the role of Pearl... Ok, monster hunter Louis... I feel like there's some irony here.
Pearl takes the role of Sausage. Writer Pearl! I like writer Pearl.
Sausage takes the role of Pyro. I don't really like vampires Sausage so him dying to Scott is not a problem for me.
Pyro takes the role of Avid. Replaced one complex about murdering someone with a different complex about murdering someone.
Avid takes the role of Abolish. What if Avid was still a wet cat but actually knew their stuff.
Abolish takes the role of Legundo. Oh yeah, he's still done with everyone's bull.
Legundo takes the role of Elle. Can't believe Pyro killed him... He gets to return as a demon tho.
Elle takes the role of Owen. Elle x Cherri real? Not clickbait? I...this is a crackship I approve of.
Owen takes the role of Cleo. Ok so Owen and Louis are taking the roles of Moonrot. I like both but still, slight downgrade cause Cleo and Pearl are awesome.
Cleo takes the role of Drift. So we get Cleo and Scott as a duo. Never seen that before (sarcasm).
Drift takes the role of Ren. And Shelby and Drift become the doomed yuri. I would have rioted if they died in canon.
Ren takes the role of Apo. So Martyn is waiting for Ren and Ren wants ti go back to Martyn? Typical.
Apo takes the role of Scott. Oh. That's. Canon Apo would hate that. This is the option she would hate the most. Well, I'd support her wrongs lmao. Also...Apo x Pyro shippers, I know you exist.
Okay, I felt like making this post because me and my friend were talking about people getting cancelled and whatnot, and I wanted to bring it to the attention of the Vampires Community because of the character Scott plays.
SCOTT HIMSELF IS NOT A BAD PERSON!!!!
I feel like a few people need to hear that, cause I'm scrolling on ao3 and I see tags like "We hate Scott here" and "Scott is a little bitch", and VSMP!Scott is NOT Scott Smajor. Yes, if we're talking about Scott Goldsmith, then yeah, that character is a bitch sometimes. But Scott Smajor is not.
Felt like getting that off my chest! Scott himself is not a bitch and is not manipulative. The character he plays, however, kinda is.

Shit I have to go through as a genderfluid person in a school with kids who take the community as a joke
Soo, I'm genderfluid, right? So, I have a few.. difficulties.. at my school
• Constantly being asked if I'm trans (with bad intent) because I tell people not to call me ma'am. There is this one kid who tried to bully me about it cause I told him not to call ma'am, and he started talking shit to me best friend cause of it.
• People coming to me asking about other people being trans. This one group of kids went up to me, and this was the conversation (T is me, numbers are the kids)
1- "Hey *dead name*, you're trans, right?"
T- "Uhm, no, I'm genderfluid."
2- "What's that?"
1- "Shut up __! Anyways, you know *trans person*, right?"
T- "Yeah, why?*
1- "Well, there was this guy last year who wanted to be a girl. Do you think *trans person* is them?"
I then had to explain that no, it likely wasn't them, as the kid was ftm and the guy from last year was mtf.
• People trying to simplify my gender. I have to explain to my friends sometimes (and I don't blame them for it, as not a lot of people know about it) that no, I don't just go by any pronoun. I go by what feels the most comfortable then. One of my friends are REALLY good with making sure to ask me, but their girlfriend? Not as much, but they're learning!
• Pick. A. Side. I get told this a LOT by some really stupid kids. Kid 2 from above, one of my friends after I explained it to him, the list goes on. It's really stupid, and how am I supposed to pick a side when none of the sides feel right???
