I think its safe to say that the Big 3 companies have much more exposure than the small companies, so its inevitable to see comments like “this group is popular because they come from the big 3” because people know them, regardless whether they listen to kpop or not, and where as idols from small companies are seen appreciated for their efforts in gaining recognition in Korea and the world because they are from small companies, and to be able to make Korea acknowledge them is something huge I’m sure, Yeah I have to agree its quite unfair to label the groups from the big 3 is popular or up there cause of their companies, because who knows how many years they’ve been training for and what have they sacrificed just to be where there are now.. they are all the same, working hard to become idols, artists, entertainers, making people happy, showcasing their talents and most importantly, realising their dreams. It’s just the way, the path, the road they took that differs. Their time will come, its just sooner or later~ and apparently those from the big 3, their time comes sooner than the rest…
