Seeing how I'm a sucker for all things "looks horrifying but is actually gentle," I don't see enough discussion about how Vampire Whumpers/Carewhumpers practice just kissing and kneading Whumpee's neck with their lips. So often things go right to fang and bite, or an immediate denial of feeding. But I want scenes where Whumper instructs Whumpee to do something--needlework, reading aloud, sharpening weapons, etc--something to keep their hands busy while Whumper teases, kisses and loves that sensitive spot where Whumpee's neck meets their quivering shoulder. Never biting, never even nibbling, just breathing. Getting Whumpee used to being held, wanted. So when the time comes for Whumper to take, Whumpee doesn't feel quite so hollow afterwards.
Living weapon mission ideas:

Assassinating an enemy of their organization
"Wiping out" a faction that opposes their organization
Killing someone "as a warning"
Stalking a person of interest in order to gather intel
Breaking into a secure location to retrieve files or another valuable item for their organization
Keep a close eye on a prisoner to ensure they stay in line (like a jail guard)
Undercover missuon: Let themself be captured by the enemy in order to gather information
Bodyguarding a person of interest
Bodyguarding a person of interest from afar and without their knowledge, like a guardian angel
Accompanying a superior when they wouldn't usually be requested, merely as a display of power
Training/tutoring other living weapons in the organization
In settings where it's appliable: Being sent out to help take down a powerful monster for public safety/the safety of their own organization
Murdering an enemy organization's own living weapon
Retrieving someone in a hostaage exchange
Stealing something valuable from someone, perhaps as a display of power; a warning
Kidnapping someone important for a person of interest to use as a hostage

Living Weapon whumpee who's so used to being called trash, disposable, worthless– that their own pain doesn't matter.
When caretaker cries for their wounds, they ask if caretaker is crying because they're hurt.
"Why are you crying?"
"..What?"
"If you're hurt, you should tell the doctor."
Caretaker has to hold back a wrecking sob at whumpee, sitting on the bed and taking less space, one less body part than when they'd last seen whumpee. Whumpee whose face looks genuinely confused, staring back at Caretaker.
Shout-out to characters who don't plan to survive their stories! Heroes who think they can only atone for their failures through sacrifice, villains who don't think they deserve to live in the world they're trying to create. Gimme that passive suicidality baby, mm-mm, delicious.
A defeated enemy bound and forced to kneel in the centre of the camp/base, left like that until someone decides what to do with them, all too aware of the many hostile eyes on them.
Character who is being visited by family or friends in prison, who knows they can’t reveal how they’re being hurt and mistreated, either for fear of reprisal or not wanting to upset their loved ones, smiling and nodding and saying it’s alright they’ll be out soon (even if they know they won’t)

famous whumpee's fans start to notice something is up and begin posting about it on social media. close-up photographs of whumpee's makeup not quite hiding a bruise; a video of whumpee looking visibly terrified, if only for a second, when someone raises a hand; another clip of whumpee wincing when someone gives them a friendly tap on the shoulder.
if ever it's brought up to them, whumpee denies it. but as more and more evidence comes out, whumper thinks "fuck it, if everyone already knows..." and decides to make whumpee's life 1000x worse.
Noncon whump but it doesn't work the way whumper intended. Whumpee treats it as a tedious chore rather than a thing of shame or horror.
okay what if: wings as a disability.
they’re big and clunky on a human body. they often knock things over. shirts don’t fit right. you have to add extra steps to your routine that other people don’t in order to take care of them. not to mention if anyone sees them they’ll think you’re a freak. or worship you. you’re not sure which is worse.

Whumpy thing on my mind today: defensive wounds on Whumpee's arms. Slashes and bruises on their forearms and backs of their upper arms, battered and cut-up hands, tweaked or strained fingers and wrists, all from desperately trying to shield their face and body from the onslaught. Bonus points for scarring and lasting damage!

teenage whumpee who returns to class after a week missing with a mumbled ‘… caught a cold’, ignoring the stab of their broken rib from when whumper slammed them into the wall.
teenage whumpee quietly apologising when confronted about missing homework. Not breaking. Not making excuses or promises. Just a quiet ‘sorry’ before they leave.
teenage whumpee hiding in a shitty bathroom stall that smells like body odor, substances, and.. well, public bathroom smell, having a panic attack. But at least it’s better than where whumper had them.
