Thank you to @biblichor for pointing out the symbolism in the scene of Wesker’s resurrection in The Umbrella Chronicles that the background features an EKG with a broken line. Which was probably more just generic set dressing than anything intentional (wouldn’t make sense in universe even if animated) but still very interesting.
