Rodimus IS patient zero. He was at the party and got face shit drunk and went around a lot, if he kisses a few people and sips a few of their drinks he didn't really think twice about that.

Also it’s up to you to interpret what exactly Shockwave is doing because I couldn’t manage to find a good way to visually express “a hundred of very ticklish kisses” without drawing a hundred of panels. Or like. Writing ((mwah)) a hundred times.

Though perhaps on closer examination these two conversations do not directly contradict each other after all? Because another interesting thing about Blurr. In all the conversations he’s had with Shockwave, there’s no evidence he’s ever outright lied about anything. Omitted a lot of information for sure. Avoided being asked too many questions definitely. In a situation where he committed to answering Shockwave’s questions he gave seemingly truthful, but very indirect answers that therefore potentially obscured the full meaning of what he was saying. But never an outright falsehood. Never in all this time a statement previously that has been shown to be directly contradicted by evidence.

So why would this be any different? Maybe it’s not. Maybe everything that Blurr’s telling Shockwave is true. And maybe everything seen in the memory is as well. Afterall, Blurr’s never directly shown to state he is fae. And if Skids just made that assumption? Well it would seem reasonable enough. Afterall, Blurr’s lived most of his life with fae. Has the appearance of fae. Seems to only speak fae. All the other schools, it would seem, rejected Blurr based on similar assumptions and biases against fae. So, if Skids accepted him regardless what difference would it make if he was fae or had simply lived his whole life as one of them? Would there be any additional information that needed to be provided there, or could the details just remain obscured and if others assumed, well Blurr had already gotten where he wanted to be it seems (and some modicum of protection from being there if the mention of wards is any indication since while Skids suggests Blurr can’t go near them that likewise would mean that fae outside would not be able to get near enough to get to Blurr either).

I also do remember though how Shockwave was bit by him so many times that two was "significantly less" than his record so shout-out to him for that.

Skids was a feral aggressive wild child newspark when Shockwave found him. There was a lot of biting and screaming and punching involved. He definitely had this "scared cat in a vet clinic" kind of vibe hehe

Though that then opens a question. The council very distinctly wanted to get rid of Shockwave. Not only get rid of him, but do so in a way that set a very public example. In a way that allowed for no possible questioning or doubt of the Council’s judgement because it was not the Council’s judgement at all but rather appeared as the judgement of Primus.

So what then does that leave if Shockwave’s academy carries on? And not only does it carry on, but does so in a way that maintains Shockwave’s legacy. And even beyond that that the individual leading the effort to maintain all of that is not only ensuring everything Shockwave started continues but also more and more taking on a likeness to Shockwave in doing so.

Skids is Shockwave’s younger copy except. Not really. He makes sure the legacy is carried on. He fills the role his mentor had. He does that the way Shockwave would but smarter. Cleverer, quieter. Unlike Shockwave he knows what exactly the stakes are and he has a faint idea of how much is too much.

It’s like making a run of a particularly difficult level in a video game after watching someone else failing to complete it. You don’t have the winning strategy but you confidently know what to expect and what to avoid. So you make your preparations less random and your strategy more specific that what the previous person had.

If I had to put it into perspective. The Senate used Shockwave as an example of what would happen to anyone trying to go “against Gods will”.

With Orion - it worked perfectly and Orion became too afraid of consequences to do anything. He got scared to try because he doesn’t want to end up a demon. For him it was a proof of some higher being being in control of peoples lives.

With Skids however - Skids took that as a tactical information. He learned what triggers the punishment and decided to work with that information. It wasn’t “oh no I should stop entirely” but instead “oh now I know how much I can push the limits before the reaction comes”.

……..also Skids has a uh. Rather unique condition/magical ability. Giving up and living a normal life isnt really an option to him. He either fights for his(and other monsters) right to live peacefully or he gives up and has to hide for the rest of his life.

I didn't say it was a summer house I said it was a forest house. A house in a forest. (In the woods?) In which I live all year:D There are apple trees and cherry trees and some berry bushes around it. I don't know the proper english names for most of the berries though. Only blueberries and strawberries. I'm too lazy to look up the names for other ones, there's like ten more of them.

The garden also has some greens and vegetables. And fuckton of frogs and lizards napping in it constantly haha.

And spiders. There is. Just insane amout of spiders everywhere and half of them are pretty much citizens of the house at this point.
