🦇 political views:
- Anarchocommunist, or something like that, intersectionality is key, all forms of oppression are interconnected and no one is free til we are all free. At this point though I don’t really care that much about the particular label, and I just prefer to associate with any other person who has or is open to anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist leftist views.
- Anti fascism, anti authoritarianism (there’s no such thing as a “good” authoritarian government, even if some are worse), anti patriarchy, anti colonialism, anti capitalism, anti white supremacy, anti ableism, ACAB, abolish ICE, etc.
- Anti ‘MAP’ ‘radqueer’ ‘pro pedo/zoo/necro acceptance” and similar forms of rape apologism, if you’re in that category you can fuck off forever. If you have a mental health issue that makes you have a desire to nonconsensually hurt people, it’s not your fault for having that problem, but regardless, that is a serious issue that you need to try to recover from. Basically, I’m pro-recovery for all harmful paraphilias.
- Anti radfem (an ideology that is actually neither radical nor feminist). Pro intersectional, radically trans+ inclusive feminism. All people of all genders are socialized into upholding patriarchy/misogyny in different ways, and it’s something absolutely everybody needs to work on consciously unlearning.
- Pro youth liberation/children’s rights (again, MAPs co-opting this movement should fuck off forever.) I believe that child abuse is one of the most normalized types of abuse in existence and this needs to end.
- Landback. Free Palestine. Antisemites fuck off (and yes antisemitism is very alive and real on the right AND the left). Black lives (still) matter. Immigrants deserve the same rights as everybody else, yes that 100% includes undocumented folks.
- Pro genderfuckery and “contradictory” labels. Radically inclusive of all good faith queer identities (no this does not include things like “transrace” or “transabled”, that shit isn’t real and you’re just racist/ableist/etc). Anti-transmasculinity/transandrophobia, transmisogyny, exorsexism and interphobia are all real- if you don’t believe in any of these things idgaf what you have to say about queer issues. Gender and sex are both social constructs, and gender and “biological sex” are both spectrums.
- Everybody deserves access to housing, food, water, transportation, etc regardless of whether or not they work. Decriminalize homelessness.
- Heavily psych critical (and critical of the medical establishment in general), but NOT anti-therapy or anti-medication or anti-recovery altogether. A lot of disability (especially mental health) diagnoses are a social construct, and the diagnostic criteria is usually deeply flawed and oftentimes rooted in ableism or other bigotry, but that doesn’t make the experiences/traits those diagnoses are meant to describe any less real or worthy of care, destigmatization and accommodation.
- Disabled people shouldn’t have to prove how disabled they are according to standards made by abled people in order to get their basic needs met.
- You should get vaccinated if you reasonably can, and you should wear a mask in public if you’re sick or if you’ve been around sick people. This should be common courtesy. No vaccines don’t cause autism but even if they did it shouldn’t matter.
- Anti eugenics, including anti MAID/assisted suicide as it currently exists under capitalism
- Anti diet culture, anti body shaming, pro fat liberation.
- Pro centering the voices and experiences of abuse survivors in feminism and leftist ideology.
- All media is “problematic” in some way if you examine it closely enough. Looking at media critically shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it. And enjoying media shouldn’t stop you from critically examining it. However- all media having problematic elements doesn’t mean it’s fine to watch anything and everything- for example, watching/supporting things like Harry Potter cause direct material harm to marginalized people and therefore supporting it is wrong.
- Pro harm reduction and decriminalization when it comes to things like drug use. Nobody should be in prison solely for a drug related offense. Addiction is a disability, not a crime.
- Pro risk aware consensual kink, but also, kink doesn’t exist inside a vacuum, and it’s extraordinarily silly to pretend otherwise. Y’all need to learn to have some nuance about this, tumblr lately has been awful when it comes to that.
- Sex work should be decriminalized, and we should strive to make a world in which nobody ever has to do sex work if they do not want to. Anti purity culture, anti fully censoring all NSFW content in general, but also anti porn industry as it exists now (if you use sites like pornhub GTFO, if you’re gonna engage with that kind of stuff you should support indie creators). I am an ex survival SWer with a lot of trauma from my time doing that, so I usually don’t feel comfortable talking about these topics.
- Very critical of the prison industrial complex. The way prison functions now in the US is deeply inhumane and often directly involves modern day slavery. I am pro non punitive/rehabilitative/restorative justice in situations where this is a possibility. I believe anyone can grow and change and become better if they decide that they want to- but they have to want it, and some people just don’t/won’t.
- Very critical of the animal agriculture industry. I don’t expect everyone to be able to avoid meat and dairy (I am unable to as of now for personal reasons), but I do think we should all try to work towards a world that systemically minimizes cruelty towards animals.
- I am pretty thoroughly monogamous myself nowadays, but I think polyamorous people are systemically oppressed for being polyamorous and this is a legitimate queer rights issue that deserves more recognition. Biphobia, lesbophobia, aphobia, polyphobia and androqueerphobia (homophobia against gay men and people perceived as such specifically) are all very real
- Working class solidarity, but class reductionism is bullshit that helps no one.
- Conservatives and people who have highly authoritarian views are not welcome here.

- FTM transsexual butch/masc guy, aroacespec, (gender)queer, bisexual in the sense that I am technically gay for all genders (simultaneously sapphic and achillean) but I’m butch4femme only. Aroace spectrum and often pretty sex repulsed due to dysphoria. Happily taken and monogamous in a T4T relationship <3
- 3+ years on testosterone now and been a part of the queer community for much longer than that.
- I am intersex (hormonally and for other reasons I don’t wanna get into) but I don’t often feel comfortable talking about it extensively at this point in my life.
- It’s worth noting that I talk about transmasc focused issues a lot on here because this is something I’ve personally been heavily affected by, and I have met very few people irl who speak up about said issues (be the change you wanna see and all that). But I do hold much love for all types of trans people. Disclaimer: I am a folk theorist, not a formal academic. I would want to study this type of shit on an official academic level if I didn’t exist in an ableist capitalist hellscape that makes college for that sort of thing not only inaccessible to someone like me, but also likely unable to pay for my cost of living even if I did manage to get a degree.
