The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.

Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?

is he an incredible fighter? yes... it was cool to see him kicking ass on the big screen.

but more than that, i really appreciated his interactions with the anzellans how empathetic he was to rotta and of course how patient and loving he was with grogu. i loved how it was highlighted that din is actually kind of averse to violence, and mostly views it as a last resort that should only be turned to when talking doesn't work. that is one of the things i adore most about his character.

"experimenting using AI responsibly" is almost aa bad as reading a tag on an item in a grocery store that reads "made ethically in china" you can't create fanfic or art "responsibly" with ai, it's impossible.

And even worse that these people feel they are justified in using ai to "write" and "create" because they can't imagine forcing their brains to work a little harder and maybe step outside their comfort zone and write something a little bad or a little amateur on the first go. Which is completely normal and part of the process.

The amount of effort and creativity it must have taken for this self-labeled author to type up her horrendously out of touch response to genuinely deserved criticism is just. I cant. She has to use ai because she cant take feeling burned out or go searching for inspiration or because shes straight up just too lazy to think and write herself but she can pull out a paragraph of excuses and justifications for using ai to write and publish slop in a fandom easy.

We need to start bullying these people, im serious. If they refuse to listen to reason or accept genuine criticism than they need to be met with genuine disdain and disgust for not having even the slightest inkling of guilt for using ai in or for their fics and posting it shamelessly.

If you dont already know, ai steals ideas and sentences from other peoples fanfics and writings. AI doesnt think, it finds and scrapes and takes from real people, from real art and creations that people actually worked hard on making and had the kindness to share with the rest of the world for free. Not to mention all of the other wastes ai creates just by simply existing. AI steals, it cannot create.

I think we really do need to petition AO3 to remove and ban AI generated works. It shouldn't be allowed. There needs to be some kind of consequences for posting ai fics. There's nothing good that can come from generative ai because it's always stolen and it's always going to be soulless garbage. The point of fanfic writing is to create, even if it's not always going to be perfect, even if it might turn out kinda bad or silly or amateur, but at least there is heart and soul in it. There's a sincerely love for the original content and its characters that still comes through.

Creating art is about having fun in the end anyway! It's about creating something you love and selfishly indulging and sharing it with others, not for stats or likes or whatever, this is not a popularity competition, but because it's fun to make something not just you'll enjoy but maybe others will too! It's about finding people who like the same thing too! Friends, community, and who knows, maybe your works will inspire someone else, and that's awesome. It's about getting better at a hobby, at a skill, even if it was difficult, it's about feeling accomplished after struggling through a project and finally getting to post it.

Using ai to replace the real time human experience of writing and creating takes away all of that. Suddenly fanfic becomes a product, just another fast-fashion trend of the week. It corporatizes the entire process and shits out an amalgamation of stolen ideas and writing. It's thoughtless, heartless, it's straight garbage that needs to be purged from AO3, and honestly, these kinds of people should be kicked out of fandom spaces until they can understand what they're doing is actually harmful and extremely shameful.

Also, even if you idiots do not outright state your works are ai generated, most of us inevitably just know. We can tell. Especially us who have been around long enough and just know what to spot for. We can tell when your writing isn't actually your writing and it's stolen ai content. It's not always the em dashes or whatever as much as it's just how lifeless and "corporate" written the fic is. There's a huge difference between a fic written by some inexperienced teenager or someone whose first language isn't english but is trying, and that of generative ai. It is clockable. We see you and you should be ashamed and you should stop.

We can't be nice to these people. There has to be a hard line drawn in the sand and this is it.
