The anticommunist nonsense about how all communists imagine they’ll be cushy bureaucrats was always so funny to me. The only job I’ve ever found enjoyable was working in a kitchen and I would absolutely be happy to do that as my main occupation if I didn’t have to worry about stupid shit like rent and bills and I was just expected to make my contribution to society by feeding people. Instead I have to live in the world run by Epsteinian morons where there are no jobs for most people and the “best” jobs are the most parasitic wasteful nonsense ever mostly focused on making the world worse for everyone else. The bread lines thing is even funnier bc now I live in a world where most of my income is being wasted by price gouging department stores for products that are only declining in quality

people will insist humans are naturally selfish when feeding the birds is a common hobby. when there are wildlife hospitals you can call when you find an injured fox outside. do we get anything from helping wild animals? i don't think so. it's not personal. it's just nice. it's something we have the resources to do, so we do it. i think thats worth remembering.

my dad is very intensely involved a battle with his city’s public administration over a playground they have tried to forcibly remove like five times in the past 20 years and DID remove once in like 2005 but then had to rebuild because my dad was such a pain in their asses and came through with undeniable receipts of the zoning plan from the 60s/the historic/cultural value of the urban planning…. like there’s a woman in the city office who is his arch nemesis. he is literally the daredevil of urban planning
