We ultimately have to approach aliens from an anthropological (anthropological? xeno..pological?) standpoint where it’s like okay. Realistically how would their culture be like knowing what we know about Eridian biology and the cultural norms Rocky has shared? I’m tired of pretending alien fiction isn’t inherently queer and interspecies relationships are also inherently queer. Because being queer means deviating from the norm.
