(Author’s Note: So I originally had this all type up, but some how it got deleted on my tumblr. No worries! This is for both prompts for this weekend. This is a letter written from Anna’s POV. I’ve been wanting to write a letter from her perspective to her younger self, telling her that everything was going to be okay. It was inspired by two songs “Letter to Me” by Brad Paisley and “Dear Younger Me” by Mercyme. So sit back and enjoy this letter!)

Dear Younger Me,

Oh boy, where do I start in this letter? You maybe probably reading this and asking yourself ‘Where did this letter come from?’ or ‘Who is this Anna?’. Well to tell you the truth; I am You but from the future. 

Now, you may be asking yourself this question ‘How does she know who I am?’ and ‘Does this person even exist?’. Yes I do exist and I know where we’ve been hiding pieces of chocolate since we were at least five years old. In face I know where all of the secret hiding spots are in the castle. 

Aside from all of the secret stashes of chocolate and their hiding places, ‘m only writing to you to let you know that everything is going to be okay within the next few years, especially what had happened to our parents. Trust me the pain will still be there in our hearts, but it will get better over time. ‘But my parents are gone and I have no one in my life!’ you may say to yourself but you do. There are people out there that have been with us since the very beginning. From Gerda, the maid that would give you some tiny pieces of chocolate to our sister that has been secluded in her room since we were only just children.

‘She loves me?’ you may ask yourself as you continue on eating that small piece of chocolate (we both have officially established the hidden chocolate in your dress already, so you min as well go on and eat it.) ‘But I’ve hardly seen her.’ That is true, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love you. She love you and in time, she will show it to you, but for now know that she loves you as a sister. You may think that she may never leave her room, but eventually she will. And when she does, know that you’ll be in for a ride that’ll last you for a lifetime. From there you’ll learn about what love and sacrifice are all about.

Now for the last question that may have just popped up in your mind. ‘Will I get to meet my prince charming, fall in love, and live happily ever after?’ Yes you do get to meet our prince charming along the journey; however not in the way you may picture it. At first, he may come across a bit grumpy and stubborn, but once you get to know him, he’ll be nothing but a wonderful man that would help you in anyway he can. Sure he may be looking forward to getting a new sleigh, but soon after he wouldn’t care about the new sleigh at all. All he’ll care about is making sure that you’ll be safe in the journey.

Sure you’ll meet some prince that would charm his way into your heart, but I wouldn’t worry about him. I;m sure that he’ll be alright after he returns back to his home. All I want you to focus on right now is this: You’re never alone and that you’re loved by the people who are surrounding you in the castle. And also know this: Love can conquer anything.

I know the whole point of superstition is vagueness because that keeps it unprovable but this is more fun

- If you whistle in a theater bad things will happen. well thats cuz sailors used to operate the curtains and would whistle to communicate so any whistling may bring it down

- You need a ghost light to appease the theater ghost. Making sure there is a light in a dark room prevents injury

- Mirrors on stage are bad luck. They mess with lighting a lot, they also have a superstion about them breaking and its very likely to break on stage.

On the plus side, it does lead to some absolutely wild medieval Jesus art of angels tapping him like a fucking keg
