Do you like Tool? Their early works were a little too sludge metally for my taste, but when Aenima came out in '96, i think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a crisp, clear sound and yet also a sheen of some guys just goofing around, that really give the songs a big boost. Maynard's been compared to Trent Reznor, but i think Keenan has a far more crude, dark style of humour. In 2001, Tool released this, Lateralus, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is Schism, a song so catchy, some people might not even listen to the lyrics, but they should, because it's not just about how communication is key in a relationship, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

Off Deep Springs Road (State Route 168), California, March 1996. Near "The Elephant", that ridgeline and hill in the middle distance, and not far from Deep Springs College, and — further down the road — the Nevada state line. Definitely kind of remote…

i kind of hate it when they cast the same 10 superstars who are in literally everything in a movie. celebrity-sickness
not every movie needs to be an ensemble cast of timothee chalamet, zendaya, tom holland, robert pattinson, and anya taylor-joy
Men should be glad they get to keep their knees when they get on them. Aswell.
Same with their breath. Aswell.
do you ever tell people you’ll be going to sleep but then you don’t and you have to not do anything noticable online for the sake of it seeming as if you didn’t lie to them
the last time i got sloppy with this @tinynaught Columbo’d me
I was only a crescent moon, a curved half circle, curved in gaping, dolorous craving, bowed around emptiness, arms surrounding to meet nothing, a line unfinished, a life unrounded, a curve unfilled, suspended over the world, pale with unfullness,

The summer night glowed; in the field fireflies were glinting. And for those who understood such things, the stars were sending messages.
Louise Glück, from "Midsummer" in Poems 1962-2012
