Asexuals were always part of pride and it really fucking shows when people think it's a recent term.

Although not going by the term "asexual" yet, asexuality was spoken about alongside homosexuality as far back as the 1890s. Asexual history is just as vital to queer history as any other term and I'm so tired of watching us being treated like a new thing

Counter idea: Kakashi still reads other books, Icha Icha are just the main ones and the ones he reads in public the most. At this point he could be reading a textbook on soil mechanics and people would just assume it was smut

I always HC that he reads Icha Icha in public because it's the most off-putting & likely to keep folks at bay. But often as soon as he's home, he's packing it away with his vest and picking up something else (a lush historical romance, probably asdlfkjs;dfj). Icha Icha is his fave series, of course, but he definitely enjoys a little literary variety.

Okay did everybody see that post about how Kakashi absolutely would've been one of those broody teenagers that consumed entire libraries just to keep himself out of his mind? what if he just had a hyperfixation on madara or something in the past. top 5 hyperfixations you never thought would end up being useful in real life, but its a decade later and all of a sudden it matters that you bothered to hunt down multiple first hand accounts of the few meetings madara was known to be a part of and, on one especially sleepless and rabid night, convinced your 11 year old uchiha subbordinate to lend you official UCHIHA records of maradras life. Because suddenly Madara is once again the It Girl of shinobi talking points except this time almost no one remembers him and you, random 30 something with A Problem, are the only person in the world capable of being right about him.

if sakumo knew that his training for his toddler actually just served to perfectly prebake him to perfection to be Minato Namikaze's stuffed toy solider, it wouldve been straight kill bill sirens until Hiruzen was dead
