tl;dr: im fine, school is a lot, and something awesome is happening and if you would donate here that would mean the world to me
Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since… I’ve posted anything substantial. I’ve been really really busy with school, like more busy than i ever imagined. I just finished my spring semester, and I passed, yay!!!! I am SO TIRED, HAHA. Any veterinary school is not for the weak, us vet nurses (technicians is the technical term here) also get that. But, I’m very proud of myself. I’m taking a few days to just… catch up on sleep (GOD.) and with friends before I start making things and getting back to my commission queue. I left this semester with a lot of inspiration for art so hopefully you all will see that soon! Other than that… I have something pretty exciting to share!
As mentioned previously, I am currently in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (essentially, a vet nurse.) and it is thanks to my school that I have been offered the wonderful opportunity to travel abroad to the Dominican Republic to help animal welfare. But this comes at a cost and I need help in reaching the funds to be able to go.
This experience will aid me in bettering my skills as a future LVT, but more importantly, I, alongside Project Samana’s team plus my colleagues and the veterinarian & LVTs that are educating me will be able to provide necessary veterinary care to animals who would otherwise not have it. By donating you are backing a wonderful cause and helping out animals in need!
Unfortunately, at the moment I do not currently have the time to take on any more commissions, but if this is to change I will update. For now, we have a donation pool (yayyy!)
Any and I really mean any, a dollar goes a long way in this economy, amount helps. I have until August to raise the necessary funds to be able to go.
If you are wanting to donate money but are unable to through kofi *please* reach out to me. If you are unable to donate in general, consider sharing this with someone who might be able to or who can help with outreach!
To donate, see here: https://ko-fi.com/sevenator/goal?g=0
To learn more about Project Samana please go here: https://www.projectsamana.org
Any additional funds to this goal will go towards the budget for future outreach events that my program may hold for future cohorts
Thank you so much in advance if you do choose to donate, you are helping thousands by doing so and I am eternally grateful. I hope to return the favor by going out and helping the community!
We’ve reached a little over halfway, but there’s still more to go! With the money we have raised so far I have been able to purchase the tickets to fly out & return. The remainder, once fulfilled, will need to go towards the deposit i must make for the hotel stay, food, gas for the car rental we are using, & to be able to purchase items i need in preparation for the trip

IF YOU WANT TO HELP VENEZUELANS DURING THE CURRENT TRAGEDY, DONATE TO THE LINKS ABOVE. 🇻🇪 do not donate to the corrupt venezuelan red cross.
Okay, so yesterday afternoon we had a double earthquake (7.2 and 7.5 with multiple aftershocks) in Venezuela. Fortunately, the place where I live wasn't affected, but Caracas and other states near the epicenter did suffer building collapses, and people are still missing.
You can see some pictures here (Instagram).
Many people lost their homes, and a state of alert was declared today (yesterday we even had the possibility of a tsunami, which thankfully is no longer present). Venezuela doesn't have the resources to recover, and the total losses are still unknown... please pray for us, we need it.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP VENEZUELA BY SHARING THIS INFORMATION:
My best friend helped me gather this information. If you have the time, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share it so it reaches the people who need it:
Gofundme: Emergency relief for Venezuela earthquake victims
(Argentina) Donations are being received here to send to those affected in Venezuela
Veterinary help for affected animals
More resources and information to help those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela (images with information after the cut)
Most of this information is in Spanish, but we appreciate your help by sharing and donating if you have the opportunity.

ok but legitimately i think the reason why kids aren’t taking internet safety seriously is because the people who are telling us not to put our personal information out seem so out of touch. no one acknowledges the possibility of meeting very real teenaged friends online, they always say that everyone you meet is a 40 year old white man in disguise. because they aren’t acknowledging things we know are true, it becomes a lot easier to dismiss the rest of what they’re saying as well. internet safety lessons absolutely must keep up with the times and acknowledge the internet’s capacity for good if you want kids to take to heart warnings about its capacity for bad.
1. Have proof they're a teenager first. More than just a picture, have a video call with them.
2. If you want to meet up with them, have your parents or a trusted adult come with you. Even if they are a proven teenager, its still good to have supervision in case any issues happen.
3. If you are talking to an adult, and they start being sexual in any way, you run the fuck away. It doesn't matter if they're 40 or 20. An adult inherently has a power dynamic that teenagers do not. And its up to the adult to act responsible about it. There's exceptions of course, if you're 16 and dating an 18 year old, that's not a problem, we're not talking about that.
4. Being in a server with adults or ran by adults is not inherently bad. Talking to adults is not inherently a problem, and will likely happen in any number of Discord servers. It is only an issue when they are acting sexual and show predatory behavior.
5. Look out for grooming behavior. It can be difficult, because at first it seems like innocuous behavior, like complimenting or giving gifts. Especially if you feel lonely and have low self esteem. And groomers actively target people like that.
If they start trying to isolate you, talk sexual with you, state they depend on you for emotional needs, blame you for their own actions, try to be secretive about the relationship- Then you need to talk to people you trust, block the perpetrator, and call the police on them.
6. If this does happen to you, remember this: It is not your fault. Even if you didn't listen to a single thing listed here, it is not your fault. It is the fault of the adults who knew better, and didn't care. It's not your fault.
To my followers: if any of you guys are underaged, please be very VERY careful on here, and don’t fall for any of the tricks the groomer would use on you, just block them and report them.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH !!!! :)) The caracters are Mikochi and Hakumei ( from left to right ) from "Hakumei to Mikochi", a manga that I really appreciate created by Takuto Kashiki. Basically it's about their life as 9 centimeters humans. The manga also has non human characters :)) . Yes, I know that they are technically not lovers but I ship them because I think they should be ! Also, fun fact : the hats they're wearing are a traveler thing ! In this world, when a child start traveling they are gifted one of these hats -their designs are different depending on the region they started their travel in- by their parents ! They are precious and sometimes old people decorate them because it reminds them of their past ( they may not wear it as often, just on special days ) It is explained ( not litterally litterally but still! ) in the 79th chapter, in the 10th volume ;) . Anyways here's another drawing of them :
