i had a dream a while ago that the actor who played big bird in sesame street released a book, and it turned out he was like rly far right wing? and nobody expected this bc hes big bird! on sesame street! big bird was a republican!

but the part that blew up the most on tumblr was where the actor encountered a cult ? that did something with blood like they worshipped blood or did blood sacrifices or something, and in the book he wrote that this blood cult was all because of griffin mcelroy. griffin mcelroy’s influence on Today’s Youths caused their morals to go away & now theres this blood cult

so “big bird blamed griffin mcelroy for a blood cult” became a new meme obviously bc thats SO funny, and then ppl started harassing big bird’s actor onset WHILE they were filming sesame street

i remember seeing a video of someone filming on their phone as they leaned through a window onto the set of sesame street. and big bird was closing his eyes and picturing something in silence, but the person holding the phone yelled “KISS GRIFFIN MCELROY” at big bird and he SNAPPED his eyes open, looked RIGHT at the person and went “go away”

then people started telling big bird to “read griffin’s rebuttal” and they would wave books or papers at him, but it was things like the john green cock monologue or my immortal (griffin never wrote a rebuttal)

my dream ended there & i woke up and immediately started laughing at it
