moths deserve better

My fave is gastly! Ignoring how overly ironed it is, I made this perler of gastly a few months ago and I keep him in the window of my sewing room uwu. It's the largest perler I've ever made lmao usually all my friends make bigass ones while I just make little bee fridge magnets, but I put my all into this Friend.

I tend to be a person that likes the underdogs, the things that often get overlooked in favor of a more popular thing. Butterflies are usually seen to be superior to moths, final pokemon evolutions are usually seen to be superior to pre-evolutions.

My attachment to both moths and gastly pretty much stemmed from (seperate) single instances, that seems to be how I roll. For gastly, it was because in pokemon x, I got kinda into strategic battling so I wanted to get a certain move for my eventual gengar (I don't remember what) that gastly could learn if you didnt let it evolved to haunter until a later level. I then got attached to my gastly (I think I bred them to get one with perfect IVs) and just never let it evolve, and it was my first pokemon to level 100 in that game.

I guess I like just giving that love to the often overlooked things and seeing their worth where others might not, plus a little middle finger to expectations (like to evolve ur pokemon)/society's general perception (that moths are icky).
