Looking at myself in the mirror and the pictures I recently took.

I know this feeling is not forever, but right now I’m too happy to think about that.

If  you scroll down my timeline you will see short post, where I wrote that I always wanted to learn how to skate and the reasons why never learned it.

Now few months later I can proudly tell you, I started skateboarding and I love it!

But let´s start at the beginning: After I finally decided, that I would give skateboarding another try and asking handful of friends (who all said no). I called a local skateboarding place and arranged an one on one trainings session. And let me tell you I was really nervous when I got there! What would they say? Think about me, a girl in her twenties starting skateboarding? So I arrive at the place and the guy who is giving me the lesson, does not ask the reason why start skateboarding or how old I am. He just asked if I ever stood on a skateboard. I will not get into the training session further. Long story short, the following week I came for another one on one session. After this session he encouraged me just tot train the turns he showed me and informed me about  „Ladies night“. So the next few days I went to the halle and practiced on my turns. On one of these days I run into my  former trainer and he :“ Hey are you coming to Ladies night tonight“. Me: „ I do not know, they probably all way better than I am“ he:“ No they all are on different levels, let´s give it a try!“. So I went to „Ladies night“. After 2 hours of skating. I started chitchatting with some other girls and found out that they also just started skateboarding and that they even made an instagram group called brettl.bande.  Where they invited everyone who wants to join them and go skateboarding together. Now few months later we still meet once a week at Ladies night, I met even more people. Weh had a movie night, where we watched „Skatekitchen“ and I finally bought my first board. I feel like starting skateboarding was one of the best things I have done in a long time!

My Mind ist heute 5 geworden!

The finale is almost here and I am super happy that Kaycee is in the Top3. She was my pick to root for since the preseason interview. I really enjoyed her laidback personality, loyalty and that she followed her preseason strategy to lay low in the first half and to make personal contact, work on her social game and then starts winning competitions when she need to win theme aka building a resume. Yes out of a gaming perspective she made some mistakes but I also believe it is easier to judge from the outside and easy to say that someone would “cut” someone who became their friend. I also think a lot of people forget that Big Brother is a mix of competitions, human chess aka strategy and a soziale experience!
