Once he had a few drinks in him, Trevor hardly noticed the way his whole body ached or the bruises forming across his torso. It was probably adrenaline protecting him more than the alcohol too, and he had no doubt he'd feel it tomorrow, but for now he could celebrate with the rest of the greasers and be glad the worst part was over with. Him and Cam hadn't talked much leading up to it, not since he'd gone dark after whatever happened between him and Greg. It was hard not to feel like they were nearing the end of their friend group as they knew it, but it was Trevor who said they needed to stop holding onto the way things were when they were kids. The memories they'd made around that time were precious to him, and gave him the kind of friends most people could only ever dream of having, but they were grown up now, a bit of change was inevitable.
