My Thoughts

I have recently been to Fraser Island, if you don’t know what that is well it’s just a small island off the coast of Hervey Bay in Queensland, Australia. While we were there we had no internet, signal or mirrors, this was something I have liked to experience for a long time and let me tell you it was 100% worth it. I had the time of my life, I met friends, friends became family, you meet people from different locations worldwide, you drink together, you learn about eachother but most importantly you continue to learn about yourself.

You see an island such as Fraser and it is remarkable, it is untouched, it is clean and it’s perfect. This is a place where you are at natures will as in that I mean nature comes first, they understand that we are visitors to the island so we should respect the natural surroundings. This includes all the animals on the island including fish, whales, sharks, dingos and all the insects surrounding us.

When you go to a place like that you truely realise that the world is not ours, it is in fact a shared place for all creatures and plants, no matter how big or small to grow, to develop into their true form

Stay safe

This isn’t my usual type of post as many of you will be aware but today is 1 year to the day I finished high school, I am watching all my fellow school mates have their last day and it brings a tear to my eyes. I am not usually an emotional person whether that be because I told myself I shouldn’t be or because I have persuaded myself that’s it’s not good to be emotional and you can be exploited. I’ve been in Australia for 3 months and it has opened my eyes to who I am, it has let me grow in a place that is new it has let me grow with people who will accept me for who I am now rather than who I was before. It was a fresh start.

When you do big trips like this away you do realise what is important to you and that is your friends and your family, you realise that there is no point being someone your not in order to impress that special person or to fit in because in doing that your are only lying to yourself, YOU ARE YOU FOR A REASON.

I’m a young adult now everyone expects me to go out every night and bring home a different girl but I will tell you that’s not me, I tried to make it me but it doesn’t work like that no matter how hard you try. You can never start to respect someone unless you start to respect yourself.

I used to be so angry with the world, with myself, with my family but really just with life. Yes I contemplated and even attempted suicide which is the main reason I came here, this was my last chance to live my life. I thought these feelings of extreme despair were normal and I got so used to them that I believed I would never get rid of them. I am living proof that things change, people get better.

I know my friends and family may never see this but thankyou everyone that has entered my life I am so happy to have met all of you whether that experience be good or bad, YOU HAVE MADE ME WHO I AM.

Please guys give your opinions on the views I want to encourage in our country

The idea that we aren’t different to another country and that we shouldn’t be fighting eachother, we should be putting our great minds together to make the world better for future generations not out the great minds against eachother in a way to destroy eachother

One single currency worldwide

New tax called the charity tax in which everyone earning over £25,000 a year has to donate 1% of there salary to a government funded charity in order to help people in your country without the idea that the tax is being wasted

Complete overhaul of the nhs with more room for increased wages and more Staff

Salary caps on jobs such as footballers and politicians and reality stars

Safe houses for those who are struggling for jobs and those who are homeless but reintegrating them into society without a process of re education and teaching valuable skills

Letting people be able to talk about their views on sensitive subjects such as peadophilla e.g not arresting peadophiles until they have committed a crime e.g online offences or physical offences

Harsher jail terms on serious crimes

Re education of those who encourage prejudice

Should there be a war we do not invade we merely try diplomatic solutions

Complete freedom of movement

For a country to go to war they needed a nationwide vote with a approval rating of above 80% should it be 70% they get the chance of a doing the vote over again

The voted leader is no more than a representative of the people with little personal control

Complete incarceration of tax frauds with severe punishments

Reducing the cost of uni fees

I am a feminist, I want equality for all sexes, this is something we all deserve, a world of equality. Equality is the foundation to creating a fair and successful society because at the end of the day there is no real difference between men and women, we should protect and serve each other not fight.

The fact that in many industries women continue to earn less than men is a disgrace this isn’t something women should fight about alone, this in fact is something we should fight together as the human race. This is bigger than one gender and group this is a task that will only be completed when everyone follows this cause.

Change is happening

Whether you are a Gen z or a millennial, many of us are against the world, we believe it to be a bad place ruled by bad people. This is a place which many people thought would never change due to powerful people in charge and the effective removal of opposition in many countries worldwide, now however it’s different the world is in need of change, our predecessors have let us down, they have failed to keep us safe. Many of our brothers and sisters have died whether that be through international warfare, internal warfare, school shootings, poverty and disease. This Is something we can change, I will never ask you to agree with me but I only ask you listen.

The world is a place of hatred, discrimination and inequality but it doesn’t have to be, it is only this way because our predecessors were taught that this was the only way for it to be. This however is not true although we have had a similar process done to us we fought against it and stuck to our beliefs, we have seen many things and watched a lot of innocent people die. This will change.

We will create a future in which we are safe in school, on the streets and wherever we go, this is a a privilege that wasn’t afforded to us.

We are at a a time when people believe war and suffering in inevitable but is it really? We are just in a society which believes that war is justified, that an event in which we impose our own will on other countries is justified. This is something which is unacceptable, war is an easy solution but not the ethical solution. The idea that we are invading countries and leaving these countries in a far worse position than the way they entered it. They have fought a generation and made it incredibly hard for the following generation to succeed. I hear you ask how will you stop warfare and I say we stop invading the countries and we simply offer our help in seeing why what they are doing is discriminative and what a better solution would be, a way to keep everyone safe and full of love and not hate because at the end of the day we all want the same and that is to keep the people we care about safe. This is a universal need whether you are catholic, atheist, Muslim, black, white, gay, straight. No matter who you are we all want the same and surely the best way to keep the people we care about safe is to prevent war and keep the peace.
