me: my tsunami evacuation route is up a nearby mountain. 2.5 miles of difficult terrain to safety, but the state provided wave simulations have the tsunami arriving in 10-30 minutes. i'd never make it in time on foot, or by the roads if the roads were even intact post-earthquake. so i've been considering riding the route on the horse, training bareback and halter-only so i could evacuate by horseback. getting the horse to come to me after something so upsetting as an extreme earthquake would be tricky, but it's a small pasture-
