i hope you understand that "chasing thinness" can be legitimately very good for health. Crash diets and weight cycling no, but sustained life changes yes. Fat people shouldnt be obligated to change though

#also like as someone who has made the sustained lifestyle changes anon is referring to#literally was not able to do that in a healthy way while chasing thinness#because the goal was not 'eat healthy meals and do exercise' it was 'lose weight'#and the healthy things in that equation are the eating fresh food and doing exercise#so when i started doing those things because i like to eat a vegetable and lift a weight that became actually sustainable#you made a meal and went to the gym. goal accomplished#when i was doing them to lose weight the goal being weight loss meant when that didn't happen i had to try something different#instead of healthy meals i would eat and enjoy it was 'what do i cut out to lose weight'#instead of going to do some exercise i can make a happy part of my routine it was pushing myself past the point of reasonable exertion#even from the lens of making lifestyle changes it is so much better making the changes because they are good things to be at
