She doesn’t actually drink a lot, she doesn’t behave like an alcoholic (I say this having lived with a functional alcoholic and being exposed to many more).

But the Hive offering to remove the interlock device indicates it wasn’t there to stop Carol from wrecking the car.

Yes, the Hive has provided things to Carol that could potentially hurt her, but they have never initiated the offer, and when the threat is immediate (like the heroin) they have tried to offer less dangerous alternatives.

I think Helen might have been the alcoholic (we see her drinking, but not Carol, years before the joining), or came from a family of alcoholics and is more sensitive or controlling.

Especially with putting a sensor on the liquor cabinet when they were freezing Carol’s eggs. If Carol is such a hazard, why are they using her eggs anyway? Why not have a discussion? Especially since moderate alcohol intake is not actually a problem during egg retrieval - but some people do act like you need to follow pregnancy precautions preconception. You don’t!

Ugh. Anyway, I’ve watched the season twice and I don’t like Helen. She doesn’t actually respect Carol’s work, but she’s happy to use the money from it to go on expensive vacations Carol doesn’t enjoy.

Is Carol going to tell Diabate about the eggs?
