Another Drama CD scan! This time it's the "Drama CD Inazuma Eleven GO Toki wo Koeru Kizuna". I think my device of choice may suck when it comes to making scans look good... The lines are too pronounced for my liking. Aside from that I tried to keep in mind some stuff I forgot about when scanning material before. So overall, scanning method? Good. The actual scanner? Probably bad.
Nevertheless, here they are!
About Crediting: Please don't repost the scans and claim them as yours. Downloading for personal use and/or archiving purposes is encouraged. If you plan to use those scans for anything (e.g. and edit or for translation) and then post that online, please remember to credit me for the scans. Similarly, using the scans to support your analysis of the material is okay with credit!
IMPORTANT! Two of the pages are out of order, having been placed below the cut instead of where they would usually go!
The first and second page of the booklet, as well as the coloured insert paper were put after the cut, because of their really bright coloring. Which means that the scans are slighty out of order this time. Keep this in mind when viewing the scans. The tracklist would normally be the third picture in order in the post, and the insert paper would be before the CD scan.
This is what the bright colors/eyestrain warning refers to! Please proceed with caution.
Thank you for sharing these!! The drama CD covers are so fun, I'm glad to see them in crisp quality at long last :D
Since you mentioned the pronounced lines: in my experience, these are best avoided by cleaning the scanner bed beforehand and then scanning at 600dpi. It takes time and a lot of file space, but you can at least resize the files later. Here's one example from the last time I had this problem.
The idol AU in Inazuma Eleven Cross has brought up various discussions on social media, and one of them is about when Inazuma Eleven started pandering to female otaku. I wanted to throw in my impressions from what I've personally noticed. (By the way, this is not a value judgment, and I don't consider this to be a problem. In my opinion, Inazuma Eleven's current issues can be attributed to other things that can take up their own post.) I have a theory that pandering to female fans can be seen as early as GO after Level-5 noticed that Inazuma Eleven had a noticable female fanbase. Shinsei Raimon has even more conventionally attractive characters than OG Raimon, and there seems to have been an increase in magazine articles (seiyuu interviews + character/story features). This might also be attributed to the magazine Otomedia starting up around the same time as GO.
I also noticed that the OG series didn't really get plushies during airing compared to GO. According to MyFigureCollection, the first set of GO plushies were released in 2013. Meanwhile, the first Endou full-body plushie seems to have been from the Sanrio CoroCoro collab in 2017 (this is a link to the acrylic stand, but the collection did include plushies that do not have a MFC listing). He's the main character of the first series, but his first plushie is linked to the magazine that the Inazuma Eleven manga ran in instead of the Inazuma Eleven anime. His first plushie linked to Inazuma Eleven seems to be the Nitotan for Inazuma Eleven Ares from 2018. Photo of the Sanrio CoroCoro plushie from 2017 (photo not mine):
In my opinion, these are early signs of Inazuma Eleven noticing its female otaku audience before they went all-out with character goods during the Ares era.
I joined the fandom in 2018 and my observations come from looking up information on merch and looking up magazines that featured Inazuma Eleven. I have not done an exhaustive review of magazine articles but I got the impression that GO was a more regular feature in female otaku-targeted magazines (PASH!, Otomedia, Prince Animage) compared to the first series. This impression could be skewed, however, by the difficulty of finding old magazine listings online, and the magazine articles reported by inazumaeleventranslations on tumblr and Splash's Too Many Penguins! fansite. If there's anyone who was there during the earlier Inazuma Eleven fandom and has further insights or corrections to make, please feel free to chime in.
(Extra addition) Another example of what I consider early otaku-targeted merch from Inazuma Eleven are the non-scale figures from Sentinel which were released inΒ 2013Β (again, during the GO era). The first line-up consists of Tenma, Shindou, Tsurugi, Kirino, Endou, and Kazemaru, characters popular with female fans. Per the September 2013 issue of Animage, the inclusion of Kirino and Kazemaru seem to be due a prior vote that was held to decide which characters should receive figures. (As the website does not permit hot-linking to images, please see the third imageΒ hereΒ for the poll results.)
These figures also have an "away uniform" variant which,Β according to MyFigureCollection, were mail-order exclusive for Prince Animage (the female-oriented spin-off of Animage magazine.)

Can people stop supporting the InazumaNational fan account on Twitter and Instagram? They AI upscale Inazuma Eleven official art and it looks like garbage if you zoom in or if you notice the details. They ruin the artwork for their own social media clout so let's not support the account. Reposting their upscaled versions also makes it harder to find scans and photos of the original linework. If you want to see the original versions of collab art, you can find them on the social media for the collab's twitters and as QRTs/retweets on the official Inazuma Eleven twitter (inazuma_project). In the tweets, you might find links to collaboration websites or online stores that may or may not have higher resolution pictures. There's a fan-run account that usually reposts all of the merch announcements as well (inazuma_check).
in case you haven't heard, parts of venezuela were recently hit by a series of earthquakes, affecting communities across the country.
as venezuela is my home country, all of this hits especially close to home. thankfully, my family and loved ones are safe since they were in cities not as severely affected. however, many others have not been as fortunate and are now facing the aftermath of these events.
years of political and economic instability have left many communities with limited resources and infrastructure, making it even more difficult to respond to emergencies like this. there are reports of people who remain missing, and many families are still waiting for news about their loved ones. rescue efforts have been made even more difficult by shortages of equipment, ambulances, and other emergency resources needed to respond to a disaster of this scale.
if you're able to, please consider sharing information, supporting verified relief efforts, or simply helping spread awareness about what is happening.

Pro tip: when you see a brand new slang term, your first question should be how that term has been used in AAVE for the past 20-30 years.
This, too. This is a big one as well.
I saw someone who was confused that Endou married Fuyuka in GO but is shown married to Natsumi in VicRo, which means that
they didn't watch the anime
they're not aware of the game version differences
they played VicRo thinking that Endou divorced Fuyuka and got Natsumi pregnant immediately after GO3 /light-hearted
cheers!
gift for @enkidudu !
Because Paul/Tamagorou has some popularity in EU Ina11 fandom (his recruitment in IE1 is the funniest in the series), I have to wonder if that influenced the sport being named Gorotama in Dragon Striker, beyond the Japanese wordplay

honestly it's pretty fucking funny the divide in ina11 fandom between soccer normies and people with some degree of media literacy. the soccer dudebros will be like oh man this character is sooo awesome saucers farming aura epic style. and then the character in question will be a mentally ill traumatized child who's one minor inconvenience away from having a complete neurotic breakdown
