At this point, it's pretty obvious that Fen'll do just about anything for him, and Koda — despite not thinking it's possible — is falling further and further into love with t he other man the more time they spend together. He's grateful for this time to dote and love on Fenix. The other's doped up and somewhat forced mellow perspective makes it easier for Koda to be his cloyingly sweet, overly affectionate self, and Fen barely bats him away! Despite the heaviness that hangs in the air, Koda is HAPPY. It's a catch 22 — he doesn't want for his boyfriend to be in pain, but he's also glad for this excuse to spend more time together.

"Shut the fuck up!" He says, lightly shoving the other man's shoulder as a grin cracks his own face in two — he's all shining teeth and gums as the affection floods him, washes away some of that guilt for now. "Don't tell me you're keeping track?" He teases, that same hand smoothing over his lover's chest before he leans in and steals another sweet, tender, careful kiss. It's just ending when Fen loopily confesses he thinks he won the lottery with Koda and Koda's expression softens considerably. He very gently trails a fingertip over an uninjured patch on Fenix's face, stopping with the pads of his fingers on the other man's lips. "We both did, babe." He agrees, nodding and shifting in closer. "I wish I didn't ever have to leave." It's a problem for future Koda, but he can't help the way the thought slips into his mind.

"Wow, you're going to abuse me in this condition? Make up your mind. Do you want to care for me or beat me up?" he asks in a manner that is very clearly meant to be playful. There's no venom in his words, no heat behind his eyes. It's nice to see Koda so smiley, it makes Fenix warm inside. It's a rare feat, one that indicates just how special Dakota is. Not that anyone is really questioning that anymore.

"What would you do if I said I was? That would be kinda crazy... Obviously I'm not reaaally keeping track. I picked the number I did because it's close to a number I thought would amuse you once you 'hit' it." Fenix attempts to smirk, which only goes so far before he's grimacing from the pain. "Two lottery wins, that's fucking unprecedented shit right there, mi fruta," he mumbles as he snuggles into his man without shame. The mention of leaving is enough to make him let out an uncharacteristic whine as he pulls Koda in tighter, closer. He wants to burrow into his lover, take up real estate under that beautiful skin of his. "So don't leave then..." As if it were that simple. "Stay here with me. Always."
