I baked a fresh #loaf of #glutenfree #whiskey #teabread except this time I swapped all the sugar for #xylitol and added some #flaxseed I really like the texture of the flaxseeds. #teabread is made without butter so it is #lowfat & great if you are #lactoseintolerant (that's #goatsbutter by the way.) Now I've used xylitol it is lower in sugar too, there is still quite a bit in all the sultanas, raisins & currants, but at least that is bound up with a bit of #fibre. I'm having it with a glass of #homemade #goatsmilk #kefir #yummy #healthytreat #homebaking #glutenfreecake #cake #teatimetreats #teatime #lactosefree #lowsugar

#poor Rascal, he injured his tail with a deep scratch or bite yesterday. So he has to wear the #coneofshame for 1 week, take antibiotics & anti-inflammatories. With a bit of good old antiseptic #germolene for the wound. I wasn't sure whether I should take him to the vet, but I'm glad I did as it is a deep wound. The #goodnews is that Rascal has lost 1.3kg in 9months, that's 20% of his original body weight!!! I'm jealous! #cat #catlife #catinjury #weightloss

Really #happy with #glutenfree #caramelisedonion & #mustard #tart For the pastry, I used #riceflour a pinch of #xanthumgum #goatsbutter #egg & #oatsmilk It is very short & #crumbly. Because I'm #lactoseintolerant I used #oatscream for the filling & it worked well. Definitely going to be #baking some quiche next. #lactosefree #yummy #homemade #homebaking
