Coop and Punch Up are hard to cast in this one. But maybe the Walrus and the Carpenter. Again hard to cast were running out of roles and I can’t see them as Tweedles.

Mandy and Blonde Blazer are the tweedles!

Prism and WB/Phenomaman are really hard to cast here… if we’re sticking with the more Disney route (less Tim Burton) I would see Phenomaman as the doorknob I guess.

Maybe WB as the lizard chimney sweep (again think classic Disney).

damar can certainly drink a pretty big amount without being outwardly affected but he has a big tolerance. when estimating an alien's weight do you take into account their like... density? it's a common fanon (?) that cardassians are heavier than humans of the same size, but i don't have enough biology knowledge to speculate how this would affect substance dosage.

TNG I have seen less of but I’m working my way through DS9 and I think it comes down to what you’re trying to replicate if we’re talking replicated alcohol. Quark is seen replicating what we have to assume is an alcoholic beverage ( a feringi starduster extra strong ) in the episode Babel in season one. So a replicator is capable or producing liquor. I’ll note here that any replicator has to be as he was using one he wasn’t supposed to be using not the one in his bar.

However most human liquor at that point is called synthale. So one of two things is likely happening. Either the demand is higher than natural output can keep up with so a synthetic less efficient substitute has become more common than the real thing (there is historical precedent for this sort of thing). Or, and this is less likely, something about space makes it harder to transport alcohol so human alcohol as we’re used to it is rarer because it’s harder to get while the synthetic version can be made anywhere.

I will grant that it’s possible StarFleet doesn’t want their people drinking on the job (as it would make them look bad) so they could refuse to transport earth liquor making it harder to get the real stuff outside our system unless you know the right people and StarFleet 100% is hypocritical enough to do that.

Romulan Ale is contraband because technically StarFleet and the Romulan Empire are at war both during TOS and TNG. But it is implied that both Romulan Ale and Klingon Blood Wine are more alcoholic than most things humans drink and therefore are actually dangerous for humans in larger quantities.

Kanar is trickier because we know so little about cardassian anatomy. Vulcans and Romulan are similar enough that we know their alcohol would have to be stronger and Klingons have twice the organs we do and we must assume that means livers as well so it would take more to get them drunk.

Personally I think Kanar before the dominion war was considered more of a sipping drink like a really good whiskey. Strong but not everclear.

My personal headcannon is that it’s one of the few alcoholic beverages Cardassians indulge in. This is mostly because they’re so militaristic and so focused on rank. You’re not gonna get anywhere if you’re drunk all the time and therefore aren’t good for Cardassia. This is more a social norm than a rule in my head, it shifts per person and situation. I feel like over the course of his exile Garak would have tried a lot of alcohol, just to see what they all do to a cardassian. But someone like Dukat probably would have tried Bajoran liquor and Kanar and not much else.
