Clogs are among the most common plumbing problems that homeowners face. Just the other day, I discovered that my kitchen sink drain was clogged. I never thought that it would be blocked up again so I guess, yes, I was surprised. Fortunately, the clog wasn’t as difficult to dislodge as I thought it would be. After an hour, I poured a kettle of hot water into the drain to wash away the ingredients. Want to know what happened? It worked! I turned the faucet on and let the water run down the drain. It went away fast and smooth. No more clogs! Wow! I learned from my mother that baking soda and vinegar is a natural drain cleaner.

However, let me just tell you this. Not all clogs can be dislodged by baking soda and vinegar. There are major blockages that would require you to use a plunger or a plumbing snake.
