~ a little City Crossed update - audiobook format & new chapters

first of all, hi, how are you, no i'm not dead, yes more chapters are coming, yes i love and appreciate everyone who has still stuck around even though i've been in an insane writing rut. i have the next chapter ready to be published and the one after that is being worked on! my motivation is back baby!!

second of all, i've started recording my chapters in audiobook form and uploading them to a google drive. i wanted to offer that here as well if anyone would rather listen vs. read! i only have chapter 1 in there so far, but i'll try to get more in asap (this month is crazy, i won't get into it because who cares but oof). if you want that link, go ahead and dm me and i'm happy to send it over! i'm hoping this makes it more accessible to readers, new and old ^-^

third of all, if i could be cheesy—i can't properly describe how much it means to me that you all have continued to comment on my fic. new and old readers alike have been insanely kind on encouraging me, on praising my writing and asking for more! it means the world to me that people care so much about something little ol' me created?! i love everyone in a totally normal way!

FD: Alright, we think we can get the cat.

FD several minutes later: We've got the cat.

Dispatch: Copy, do you still want--

FD, interrupting: Update, the cat DOES NOT like us.

Dispatch: ...so you do still want animal control, then?"

FD: Yes. Tell them the cat is in the engine.

Dispatch: ...are you also in the engine?
