okay but can we talk about the fourth picture?  look at him. this is the face of a man who has lost his entire squad. who is realizing he will have to go on without them, and you can see him coming to terms with it right in this moment. he’s seen so much death, and he’s STILL able to be just as badass as ever, as broken as he may be on the inside.  this, this right here is why levi is my favorite character.
