He'd finally got better with Frostpath! This spell now generates 2-4 wide ice path, allows him to run forward in the air without jumping and applies slow falling effect after its end. Though, it could still be better (technical issues);

cc!Scott's describes slow falling effect after Frostpath end as "I kinda fall like a snowflake";

He got ice and snow flurries under control;

There're mailboxes in the coridor and in his dorm now, his one's called "scott (stott)";

He says Aurora enjoys being outside and stretching her wings;

There's quite consistent observation about him being considerate, and also being a person who takes initiative. Just this stream it was bits like "I went to train outside because I didn't think it would be safe to practice my magic where I can hurt other students", "We need a hoe? I'll go grab a hoe", "Sausage got lost? I'll search for him", "Ambear is behind when we need to run? You go, I'll get her";

He didn't have any hesitation attacking shadow person(s) who charged at them. When asked by Ambear after killing (one of) them, his response was: "I'm fine. It's rare I get an excuse to not hold back. They came in swinging first and I finished the fight."

"Someone's gotta be here to protect.. /exhale/ ..and that will be me."

He was told about report of Maddie and Pyro being kidnapped and (his monologue was fully about Pyro, not Maddie) decided to hope that report was wrong;

They go on a mission where Owen can't wear his collar, stuck in some fancy thin-walled room on an ocean cruise. Not being able to wear it on the clock has happened before, but they can't even bring the collar this time.

Several of the other vacationers onboard are magic-practicers of one type or another, many of whom the Organization has concerns about. Each has their own surveillance techniques, wards, and/or plain-old human spies; having anything magical in their luggage would've tipped their hand.

Abolish couldn't bring his earring, either - there is no magic tethering them.

They're walking back to their rooms, the end of a long night of polite chatter and careful inquiries and politicking, and Owen is visibly coming apart at the seams. His hands are trembling, eyes dull. He seems to get worse as they near the rooms.

The door clicks shut behind them, and Abolish (who has never once explicitly acknowledged what's going on, has avoided even thinking about it because it's such a tangled mess and he doesn't know what he's doing) herds Owen against a wall and wraps both hands around his neck.

Pupils huge, Owen stares at Abolish in shock. He does not try to move.

Abolish squeezes, not enough to hurt but enough to feel. Fumblingly, he tells Owen that he's still his, that the collar is just a reminder.

Scared and vulnerable, Owen tries to lash out, say that Abolish is stupid if he's forgotten the distance limitation, and the punishment the collar can dole out.

Abolish tightens his grasp, and Owen cuts off with a wheeze. Intense in a way Abolish almost never is toward Owen, he insists that if Owen ran, he would find him. That Abolish is more than capable of punishing Owen for bad behavior without the collar.

Eventually Abolish lets go, steps back. Owen whines at the loss of contact. Abolish tries very hard not to stare at his healing red finger marks on Owen's neck.

Abolish can't go right to bed, he has to take notes on the information gathered this evening. Owen spends that time on his knees, head nuzzled against Abolish' thigh and a hand petting his hair intermittently.

this is so fucking good. fuck. oh my god. i’ll admit when you started with they’re not allowed to bring the collar or anything with them i thought where you were going with this was abolish using his tie to fashion something together but where you went with it is SOOOOOO MUCH HOTTER OH MY GOD FUUCKKKK im like. speechless

Other materials at the time, namely clay, would absorb flavors and germs meaning that if you ate beef off a clay plate your next meal with that plate could have beef flavor and microbes common on cow meat on it.  That would leak out seemingly at random no less.  Heck imagine a sick person coughing into their soup bowl and then months later their germs hiding in the clay would pop out to infect whole new people.

Also the earliest human use of glass we know of is for its sharpness.  Pre-historic people would use volcanic glass as sharp knives for food preparation.  Also beads.  Pretty much any new substance humans get their hands on for most of our history we immediately try to make into beads.
