There's a post sitting in my flagged posts that's been there for three plus years. It's a pair of onions in a bag that looks suspiciously like a pair of fat tits. Apparently it's flagged for everyone and God i wish i could show y'all
Lord if this works
See, a scientist makes a little moisture sensor sensor for his plant to remember to water it.
But a mad scientist chooses that kind of audio.
Put this guy in castle Heterodyne, and they'd be best friends.
Dude ur so right this is some shit the Castle would do for shits and giggles lmao
the new dj crazytimes song ⌠now thatâs what I call music!
The over-pronunciation of every word is so spot on lol

Sound on to hear the water running through pebbles
Weâre winning.
I found his bio on societyofpresidentialdescendants.org and it was so delightful I had to copy paste the whole thing:
âUlysses Grant Dietz grew up in Syracuse, New York, where his Leave it to Beaver life was enlivened by his fascination with vampires, from Bela Lugosi to Barnabas Collins. He studied French at Yale (BA, 1977), and was trained to be a museum curator in the University of Delawareâs Winterthur Program in American Material Culture (MA, 1980). A decorative arts curator at the Newark Museum for thirty-seven years before he retired, Ulysses has never stopped writing for the sheer pleasure of it. Aside from books on Victorian furniture, art pottery, studio ceramics, jewelry, and the White House, Ulysses created the character of Desmond Beckwith in 1988 as his personal response to Anne Riceâs landmark novels. Alyson Books released his first novel, Desmond, in 1998. Vampire in Suburbia, the sequel, appeared in 2012. His most recent novel, Cliffhanger, was released by JMS Books in December 2020.
âUlysses lives in suburban New Jersey with his husband of 45 years. They have two grown children, adopted in 1996.
âUlysses is a great-great grandson of Ulysses S. Grant. His late mother, Julia, was the Presidentâs last living great-grandchild; youngest daughter of Ulysses S. Grant III, and granddaughter of the presidentâs eldest son, Frederick. Every year on April 27 he gives a speech at Grantâs Tomb in New York City. He is also on the board of the U.S. Grant Presidential Library and Museum at Mississippi State University.â
And frankly, the novels sound like they slap:
Desmond was nominated for a Lambda Award.
âWith his husband of 45 years.â You kids donât know ... they got together before AIDS, at the peak of the Gay Glam Life. They stayed together as their generation died around them, and made through it to the point where they could marry and have a legal family. He looks like a chipper preppie who never had a serious thought or care in the world, but it took *incredible* determination, commitment, and also luck to get here.
having now read the first of this man's vampire books, you can absolutely tell that he cares a lot about historical furniture because oh my god he really wanted to tell us about all the historical furniture in this vampire's house. material culture as foreplay. seduction via theses about chairs
"Until heroes, arose to defend us. Born with voices that can drive back the darkness. Singing songs of courage and hope."

I think about this like once a day
I have heard a variant on it that I really like: "You cannot hate yourself into someone you can love."
yeah yeah rainbow capitalism is bad and whatever but like. when I was a child, being pro gay was not the popular or lucrative choice. I'm happy that times have changed.
I miss rainbow capitalism. I do. I miss when it felt like public opinion was still pro gay. I understand it was always an empty gesture, but it mattered in a sense of knowing how socially acceptable being queer is. If that makes sense.
there's a really funny 3d printing controversy going on btw.
if you don't know, there's a very popular 3d printing model out there called "benchy". this is used for benchmarking your 3d printer because it's a difficult print and will help test it out.
this is so widely used that people make their own little versions of it, remixing the 3d model to make benchy look cooler and stuff. however, a new company owns the benchy license. they are sending copyright takedowns to all those who wrongfully uploaded the benchy model.
of course, this is pissing off the 3d printing community greatly. everyone loved benchy and have used it for years. so someone on reddit decided to make a new model that is designed as a 3d printing stress test. one that works a lot like benchy, and people are freely able to edit it as they please. you know what they called it?
boaty.
since itâs pride month, throwback to this beautiful cover and this wholesome interaction between two icons

I need help, which is something I hate to admit even when it's true. I'm out about $150 that I'd need to cover the move in cost for an apartment. Distressing news is I have 2 days to come up with it. For this one time I'm foregoing some of my list of things I've said I wouldn't draw- If there's anything you've wanted from me, especially in fully color, with shading⌠Now's the time. If you want examples I can post some, but I'm on a time constraint. This offer is good until the 25th. So, whatever you want- I can do it. https://forms.gle/a8Y6QP14CFYTFgWv7
TIL in 1915, San Diego hired a ârain makerâ who used a secret mix of chemicals to âattract rainâ for $10,000, payable if he filled their reservoir. It rained for most of January, destroying bridges, dams, and causing 20 deaths.

that was the Devil
I mean they wanted rain
His name was Charles Hatfield and Iâm not saying that you shouldnât make a deal with him, but I am saying that you should be very clear about the terms and conditions
I think we need to fully appreciate the fact that the reason he âlooks like the Devilâ is that many depictions of the Devil in American popular media are specifically caricatures of this guy. Like, imagine being a con man and fucking up your hustle so badly that for more than a century afterwards people start drawing the Devil to look like you.
