I've seen "fuck the beauty industrial complex" posts about complicated skincare regimens and am 100% with them except sometimes they mention sunscreen and no. no. absolutely not. sunscreen is a wonderful supportive friend who wants to keep you safe, and you should let her do it. throw out all your other cosmetics and skincare products if you want, but keep your sunscreen. and if you're not wearing sunscreen, start wearing it!!!! this is not about terror of aging, this is not about every tiny imperfection our fucked-up culture has made you feel insecure about, this is about protecting yourself from skin cancer. wear the damn sunscreen.

I think them being gods cancels out the typhros, being immortal formless beings. It's possible that they could get typhros, but they could also just tank it, so if you want to go worst case scenario or best case scenario, either are viable right now. They're probably going to discuss it in the Vox Machina liveshow since that one will openly discuss the aftermath so we'll have to see what happens.

of course we can handwave repeated reincarnation drawbacks since they're gods, but I'm more interested in the thematic core of catatheosis being that it forces the gods to become more like mortals, experiencing the full mortal process, and all of the flaws that entails. what the cast realistically want to do with the fallout is still up to them.

good reminder on the liveshow! I still love exandria and am hungry for anything that explores the consequences of canon. and as entertaining it is to think about an eventual typhros pandemic, that wouldn't be a problem for a long time, given its incubation period in the dynasty over almost a thousand years.
