There is a lot of flavor in these Jamaican-style chicken burgers thanks to the jerk seasoning. They are served with mango chutney, which is sweet. These Caribbean-style chicken burgers are a great change from the usual ones.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper. 1/4 cup diced onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp Jamaican jerk seasoning. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Mayonnaise. Mango chutney. Pickled jalapeos optional.
Instructions: Ground chicken, breadcrumbs, diced red bell pepper, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Warm up a pan or grill on the stove over medium-high heat. For about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until the chicken patties are fully cooked 165F or 74C inside, put them on the grill. Fry or grill the burger buns for a few seconds on each side while the patties are cooking. Place lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of each burger, then add a chicken patty, tomato slices, and a dollop of mayonnaise. Put the top bun on top of the burger and spread mango chutney on it. If you want it to have more kick, you can add pickled jalapeos. Warm up your Jamaican-Style Chicken Burgers and eat them too!
