and it’s important to me that lucy still doesn’t like the bad kids - she didn’t like them in the same way the other rat grinders didnt like them. lucy is ignoring kristen in cleric classes until they’re forced to work together on a project, and kristen asks “why did you forgive her?” and lucy says “if riz did something terrible because he thought it would help you, would you forgive him?” and kristen leaves her alone for the rest of the year. senior year rat grinders are rats clinging together while the titanic sinks because they need their leader, but kipperlilly knows she already failed them all once, she shouldnt be calling the shots anymore. who flinches first
