english teams were banned from participating in european competitions for a number of years after dozens of people were killed in the 80s during a nasty fight between juventus and liverpool fans (i think a wall collapsed and crushed people or something to that effect)

there's a spike in domestic violence against women whenever there's a match going on bc men become even more violent

becoming a professional athlete is the only way out of generational poverty for a lot of people.

every time a trans identified male gets a spot in a female competition, a woman loses that opportunity. it could lead to some serious life changing consequences

The older i've gotten the more i've come to think that a substantial amount of people (mostly men) don't really have an internal sense of morality. Like there are two questions they ask themselves when deciding to do something and that is 1. will this benefit me and 2. will i face negative consequences for doing it. and that's it. I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?

TERFs aren't real. Radical feminists are real - radical means "root." The "root" cause of why the feminism movement exists is because female people are oppressed by male people on the axis of sex. It's plenty inclusive because it includes all female people.

I actually do think female socialization is overall more important to me than physical sex. Like, people with CAIS are genetic males but I don't consider them men in any way (though of course the fact that they have a vulva means sex-based oppression and some female healthcare still applies to them). This is also why I find it bizarre that I see radfems calling Imane Khelif and Caster Semenya men because they were still AFAB and raised as girls, even if their testosterone production/muscle mass might be an issue in female sports specifically. Especially when their competing in women's categories is framed like "deception" when they didn't know they were intersex when they entered.

Though sex matters it is less the strict biological categories I have a problem with and more that I simply cannot discount an MtF's societal designation, treatment as, and life as a male. This is what fundamentally puts them in another category to me

trans women were not banned from the olympics. all males were banned from the female category. trans women are still absolutely welcome to compete in the male category, the category in line with their sex. this is how every athlete who wishes to compete in the olympics will be treated, regardless of identity or trans status.

they have not been wrongfully discriminated against and banned for their internal identity. the olypmics possess no mind-reading machines that can test for internal trans identity. they have been banned from the female category, on the basis of their maleness, which is easily testable, measurable, and tangible with a cheek swab.

I don’t think it’s homophobic for a woman to not want to date a bisexual man. The man might be forcing themselves to date a woman because it’s more socially acceptable when really they’d be much happier with a man. I guess it depends on if he accepts his bisexuality or if he sees it as shameful.
