Firstly, what does the argument that we are “wasting our lives” actually mean? What evidence does that clear? By this logic trans activists are “sucking away” his own “life force” and he is wasting minutes he could have “spent living” fighting with them. While there are other topics we could be discussing, we choose to focus on him because he continues to slander radical feminists, and we think allowing him to sweep his behavior under the rug is unacceptable. How can we talk about male violence when there is a former trans-identified male breathing down our necks, trying to paint his peers as the ultimate victims? How can we discuss other topics when our community is hijacked by an abuser who believes that radical feminism is “hollow and worthless” if its members do not try to rehabilitate other violent men? This is stupid, petty “gotcha” with no point of its own. 

Secondly, the claim that everyone who criticizes him is a man or a trans activist, or falling for “it” “hook, line, and sinker” is just an excuse to justify his continued presence in radical feminist spaces, or, now, an attempt to paint radical feminists as gullible. Excluding the fact that this claim is baseless, more popular/trusted blogs on radblr have also denounced him. More projection from a former trans-identified male (who has also been caught pretending to be a woman on an alternate account). Yes, trans activists parrot facts from our blogs. However, the fact that River claims all radical feminists who dislike him are men in disguise shows he does not respect women’s boundaries or listen to us like he says he does. We do not dislike him for being critical of gender ideology. We dislike him for inserting himself into radical feminist spaces, demanding we center men, and now demeaning radical feminism as a whole. His refusal to listen to the women who do not want him around in any capacity shows he never unlearned his trans-identified male entitlement. 

Thirdly, the idea that we just “don’t like a male talking about male socialization” has as little merit to it as the TRA claim. Many of River’s posts about male socialization have also been attempts to minimize his abusive behavior; and are clearly biased by the fact that he, as a man, benefits from it.
