with all the bi/panphobia in the world (like the erasure of our identity with so many saying we get straight-passing privilege if we’re in an opposite sex relationship), i cannot even BEGIN to understand why so many young bi kids are choosing to hate on pansexuality in general, it’s genuinely horrifying seeing so much misunderstanding when we need their solidarity as much as ever

Could it be because pansexuality was born out of biphobia and that the pansexual community keeps spreading stereotypes about bisexuality? Just throwing this possibility out there.

In addition: Aside from the backlash from literally being biphobic, pansexuals actually face no oppression from inside the LGBT community while bisexuals do. This oppression has gone up since the conception of pansexuality, since some pansexuals have tried to remove bisexuals from the community.

Pansexuals are the virus, bisexuals are the cure.

Gays will respond “haha” and nothing else and decide it’s your turn in the conversation to say something
