Hey all. Whether it's the 26 of y'all who hit that Follow button for whatever reason, the zillion-some of y'all that I would call Noir- the proud, distinct, real people that I know I don't exactly know- or anyone who happens to tumblerupon (yea, that's a joke) my stuff... thanks for any small head nod. In real life that means a lot, you know? Like getting someone to laugh at your joke, or having your parents clap for your little rap song or poem when you were little. I see the all this internet shit, all this 'social media' as just a little blip in the reality of life: I wake up in a soft bed most mornings, and I like to be in the real presence of good people.
I'm a writer, and I am working on a piece of art right now fervently. My mom keeps yelling at me to do whatever university stuff I'm supposed to have done by now, but hey! Artists don't follow rules too well. Well, this is my only platform to speak out, at the moment. Jay-Z is a great hero of mine because he leveraged a nonexisting platform to big up something a lot of us are secretly good at. So what I'm trying to say is, if you have enjoyed Noir, if you like good writing, mythology, or are just looking for some new stuff to read, look out for The Water. Ain't no twilight shit, I guarantee you.
