Thought I can saved this for my last Tumblr post for ❤️February 2021 today, but good news that I finally finished my homework like many times. 😉👍
Now I can finally take a break from it and doing on my own plans for coming 🍀March 2021 soon....unless they’ll bringing more from my progress of sorts, so yeah. 😓 *At least I needed them to learns things , though* Nevertheless, this call for my lunch break as you can see here from my mom brought us: Wendy’s Baked Potatoes and Poland Spring Drink! It also came with Light Sour Cream pack and Butter Spread from my sister gave me, but I usually used the Sour Cream pack for my baked potatoes instead. At least it tasted so good as my well deserved lunch after my homework writing. 😋👍
Poland Spring Water, 1896
Two postcard views of the Poland Spring House hotel, circa 1910. Built in 1876, it was expanded and adapted for decades afterward, well into the twentieth century. As tastes changed it lost favor among lodgers, and was subsequently used by the Job Corps and as a transcendental meditation center before burning down in 1975. An architectural timeline is here. The postcard scans are from ebay listings.
Ode to Plastic Bottles
I let the springs of Poland and the geyser of Crystals lubricate my thirsty throat I drink in pure life that springs from a plastic bottle
yet it cannot capture the grandeur of the Ocean it fills the land, but not in beauty it burns with incinerating chemicals that we cough in the heating night
the taste of velvet nestled on an imaginary tongue the mountain freshness I expected pricked me like an arrowhead the heart of the mountain is robbed soulless I’m faltering into the depths of the valley where I let the sparkling bubbles conquer me
I’d rather have the salmon river kill me than drown in toxic waters –– I hold the fateful bottle in my hand that asks me to Live Young There is a difference when water at its best is water imprisoned in plastics down-cycled in India where land and river there and here are polluted by plastic chemicals coercing my mother to chemotherapy
In the words of the Tao Te Ching it is the emptiness of the bottle that holds liquids, it is the emptiness that is its function and it empties the rivers and empties the air of cleanliness and it empties my criminal hands because I can just throw the bottle away
Remember the time at Deer Park, white New Hampshire winter and there was frozen water in the pond and dangling from tree branches and we reached for the clearest of water bottled in plastic as we hiked, through the snowed woods and left our treasure on the trail

"I’m sturdy and grown. I’ve made it to the 64 oz size. I’ll be able to overlook Staten Island and Manhattan from here forever. I can enjoy the breeze and hear the sounds of kids running around their parents."
"I have finally made it."
As the moon glowed and people canvassed the man-made area jutting into the river throughout that night, the bottle of water whispered these words to itself while it peacefully postured itself for permanent residency at the pier.
The next morning, the sanitation worker threw it into the garbage.
“Who left this trash here?”
