The true enemies to lovers
Happy Pride Month 2022!!!
Faust the Crow loves you even more than she did last year!
Hey btw, to cis people unfamiliar with this kind of thing:
If you accidentally deadname someone, handle it the same way you would if you'd accidentally called someone your dog's name. Just a quick and casual "ah fuck sorry, that's not your name" will do, this kind of shit happens and names are all registered in the same part of the brain.
You wouldn't write someone a whole e-mail essay about how you feel and how you'd never actually mistake them for a dog. People understand, there's no need to make it weird.

incase it wasnât clear - i am and my blog is anti-terf đ
I just lost some followers :) Good
Remember to love and uplift trans women, not just hate terfs.
trans women are women and trans men are men!
i learned that in August 2014 Womenâs Voices for the Earth commissioned testing of four types of Always menstrual pads, manufactured by Procter & Gamble. The certified laboratory STAT Analysis Corporation analyzed the products for volatile organic compound.
âThe results of the testing indicate that both scented and unscented Always pads emit toxic chemicals, including chemicals identified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Toxicology Program, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, and the State of California Environmental Protection Agency as carcinogens, and reproductive and developmental toxins. None of these chemicals are disclosed on the product by the manufacturer.â (x)
I switched to dye free fancy cotton pads, after years of having periods so fucking bad I would sometimes faint, and now i just get like. regular cramps occasionally, theyâre not even that bad anymore.
i switched back to these after using fancy organic cotton pads during my most recent period & they caused PROBLEMS out of the blue - 100% confirmed, these are not good to use
been using these reusable menstrual pads since november 2019 and im never going back to these commercial pads. commercial pads like these always gives me skin rashes which is so annoying. switch to reusable i swear youâll not only be period-ready but also rashes-free!
psa they also have a starter pack in case you want to switch and you dont know what to get and an xl size for plus sized women!
EXPLAINS ALOT. WOULDVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW AWHILE AGO. COOOOOOL.
Plus, thereâs a study that showed that vagina are highly vascular so, basically, every chemical you put down there is absorbed by your body real fast and really well. In short, ditch tampon too.
TAMPONS are dangerous frequently the direct cause of TSSÂ TOXIC SHOCK SYNDROME
Yeah, reusable pads were one of my first major eco-friendly changes but my body has been way happier that way. They are infinitely more comfortable and effective, and I just throw them in my washing machine on the hand wash + extra rinse and hang dry. I canât say being on your period is ever pleasant, but itâs way better than before - ESPECIALLY in situations where you canât change as often - and I donât feel like the harbinger of the end of the world when I look at my restroom trash can anymore :)
I always buy generic brands but wasnt âalwaysâ the ones who were sending fucked up pads to women in africa just a few years ago too???? Fuck always brand.
PSA!!!
they now have a budget-friendly trial pack so you no longer have to worry which pad fits best for you. you can just buy the pack to get one pad of each size!!
Could the fact that i use Always brand be the reason i get such bad cramps?? I must test this theoryâŚ
Also, pads can take up to 800 years to decompose. Yikes.
Cariona pads (link above) are AWESOME. Donât knock it til you try it - Iâll never go back to always pads. My period is, like, manageable, for the first time in my life. It is no longer a struggle with excruciating cramps, heavy bleeding, leakage, and looooong periods, but like, mild to medium cramps, and I HAVE A CYCLE AGAIN for the first time in years. Try it. The upfront cost is daunting, I understand, because I was worried I wouldnât like them, but Iâm SO GLAD I got them. Just toss them in bottom of your shower when you take them off, shower as usual, and then squeeze them out. That basically rinses them for you, and then theyâre all set for the washer and dryer. Youâll thank yourself later; give it a try.
Why isnât anyone talking about how cute the Cariona pads are? They look adorable tbh
Cariona pads are amazing and they are SO cute. Like @maybeitsfinallytime was saying, theyâre really easy to rinse out, and I usually hang them over my shower rod to dry so I can reuse them during the cycle, then give them a proper wash in hot water with a little sanitizing detergent afterwards.
Hereâs to trying some. I even bought the animal crossing variety! Maybe Iâll never worry about running out of pads again? Who knows? Iâll update when Iâve tried them.
For people who menstruate đЏâŚ.
UPDATE: I just ordered the trial pack. I personally have a lot of problems with excruciating cramps my cycle being consistent, especially in recent months after losing weight and medications and such. Hopefully these work well/help because I always feel guilty about the amount of waste normal pads create
Due to when the reusable pads I ordered arrived I ended up switching literally in the middle of my last period and the difference was instant, Iâve gotten really bad cramps for as long as I can remember and still did the first half this time around but I didnât cramp at all wearing the reusable pads. I highly recommend the switch.
I bought the cariona pads too and oh my gosh. The difference. I went from painful cramps and headaches to just mild cramps for like a day. They are so easy to use and so comfortable.
Been saying this for years and people thought I was crazy, it definitely affects us women and we should have a say in how these things are manufactured.
hi these are the reusable pads i use and while they do slide around a little bit, i havenât once gotten throbbing sensitive skin around my vulva or shooting pains down my legs since using them. i used to think that was a part of having my period but now iâm convinced it was from the pads and tampons i was using. not to mention i save tons of money on disposables.
Iâm definately going to try and save up for some of the reusable pads. My cramps have been terrible all my life and all Iâve ever used is always pads so that could very well be the reason for my bad cramps :/
The feminine desire to be a man
The masculine desire to be a woman
If you accidentally hurt someone or cross their boundaries and they make you aware of this, literally all you have to do is apologize and stop. You don't have to beat yourself up internally for months. You don't have to hate yourself for fucking up. You don't have to feel like a horrible person. No one benefits from any of that - and at worst, such an extreme reaction will make the person in question less likely to speak up around you in the future, cause even if your negative reaction is directed at yourself and not at them, it's still unpleasant for everyone involved.

this is not an onion headline
a trans woman was suspended from her job at netflix because she tweeted about dave chappelle's transmisogyny and he's a multimillionaire whining about being "cancelled" you cannot make this shit up
trans allies cancel your netflix subscription and put this under reasons why (and publicly post about it) challenge
also here's the links to the articles
Dave Chappelle's comments on the transgender community in "The Closer" are stirring up feedback as he mockingly calls himself transphobic.
At least one trans employee is quitting due to the controversy.
Many in the notes have pointed out that the reason for the suspension was that this trans woman tried to attend a meeting she wasn't invited to.
Note the way in which the language used to describe the situation invokes images of violence and aggression.
Frequently it isn't "tried to attend" it's
"barged in"
"tried to force her way in"
"shoved their way in"
"crashed"
It's not just on Tumblr either, anywhere this topic is being discussed this type of language is being used to describe the actions of this trans woman.
But why? Is it true? Well it was an online meeting. How exactly one "barges into" an online meeting is beyond me.
None of the numerous articles written about the topic at hand mention any adverse consequence caused by this trans woman attempting to attend this meeting. Yet both terfs and "allies" alike speak of it like they know for sure that it was some kind of aggressive and disruptive act.
Regarding the tweets, a Netflix spokesperson has even said "Employees are encouraged to openly disagree and we support their right to do so."
How is suspending employees trying to address their concerns with the people who have the power to change things "encouraging open disagreement"?
At many other companies an employee attending a meeting they weren't invited to doesn't come close to a suspendable offense. It certainly seems to me that this suspension is implied retaliation for the tweets.
The terfs were never going to change but allies stop doing transphobes work for them by defending Netflix and baselessly describing trans women's actions as aggressive and violent challenge
Hey y'all want a fun update to the "barging aggressively into a zoom meeting somehow" story?
She was sent a link to the meeting by one of the corporate directors
Oops! Their attempt to set her up failed
Everything is like âQUEER historyâ and âList of QUEER young adult booksâ or âTop 10 QUEER moviesâ and queer this and queer that and for the love of god please just say LGBT.
And faster to pronounce if you are talking instead of writing.
Itâs not more inclusive, and if your excuse of using a slur as a blanket term is âitâs faster to sayâ, GENUINELY what is wrong with you
Itâs called economĂa del lenguaje.
Itâs also the respected academic term?? The acronym isnât static and itâs usage is varied by things like generational difference, location, and knowledge of the community. Even just in the U.S. in the last few decades the common usage gone from GLBT to LGBT to LGBTQ, to LGBTQA/LGBTQIA/LGBTQIAP/etc (Which, let me tell you as someone who has given presentations in the past using these updated acronyms, are all real mouthfulls), to LGBT+.
Also yes, queer is more inclusive! Especially coming at it from an academic standpoint, people didnât always use or identify with the terms we use now and you canât always try to cram them into our modern perceptions of sexuality. We can argue for years about whether a famous historical figure was gay or bisexual or straight and trans or whatever, but if we can all agree that they were somehow queer then using that term allows us to move past the debate and into productive discussion. And not everybody everywhere shares the same terms for sexual and gender identity, or even the same concepts of those things, so queer really is a more inclusive term in a lot of cases.
Like yeah if youâre talking specifically about gay or trans people you can just say gay or transgender, but if youâre talking about more than one identity or someone who doesnât conform to our perceptions of âLGBT,â or a person or people whose identity you donât know, queer is just the better word.
âThatâs SO gayâ, âOh my god, youâre not a LESBIAN, are you?â
Your words are slurs, too. Why do you get your words, but I donât get mine? What makes you so special?
Iâm here, Iâm queer, go fuck yourself.
queer is not a slur, stop drinking the TERF koolaid
every time one of you fools spout about âqueer is a slurâ a terf laughs because their fucking plan to make that word âtabooâ is fucking working you dipshit.
I did not get my degree in queer literature for you all to keep pulling this bullshit.
baby gays,,,, i beg of you to learn your queer history and stop listening to terf bullshit
every single one of our labels has been used as a slur against us.
terfs and -phobes are always going to try and hurt us with what we identify as. but the fact remains these are OUR labels and always have been.
weâre here, weâre queer, get used to it.
I donât know if this is just because Iâm not American but Iâve never heard queer used as a slur. Ever. Meanwhile gay was the insult in the 2000s here. Everything you didnât like was âsoo gayâ. Queer wasnât even a word most of us knew back then.
It just baffled me that people would think an identifier is automatically a slur just because someone uses it to mock someone. If we did that gay would be a slur. Stupid would be a slur. Autistic would be a slur.
The reason people are upset about the word queer is that itâs a unifying term. You can say youâre queer and all people will know is that youâre part of the community. But you canât say youâre LGBT, you have to say youâre gay or trans or ace. They donât want you to be ambiguously queer. They want you to say which kind of queer you are so they can decide whether youâre undesirable.
yeah in the 90s and early 2000s kids would call each other âgayâ as an insult. But no one ties themselves in knots over whether âgayâ is a slur. So yeah, please ffs learn your history.
They want you to say which kind of queer you are so they can decide whether youâre undesirable.
I would like to add that op has been harassed and doxxed for this post. LikeâŚcan we all agree while this is a shit take, op really didnât deserve this especially when they were a teenager living with homophobic parents?

Nas has been spitting nothing but facts this week
pride at the museum đłď¸âđđ !!
[ID: a digital drawing of the little cowboy and the little Roman (?) soldier from "Night at the museum". The soldier is kissing the little cowboy, who looks at him, on the cheek, both are smiling. They hold the rainbow flag in their hands and one arm around the other, and there's a pale blue circle behind them on the white background. Over their chests is the artists signature "klimtsonian". /end ID].
