If like 4am but I got a like thought when i just woke up. I was listening to animatic about Furina when I fell asleep so maybe that's where did came from but I literally had to write it down.
I know it's not possible and unlikely but what if somehow Furina had a kid? Like single mom style? I doubt she'd let it happen but if somehow she did? I mean? She has been alone basically you know her theme or forever. No family but maybe Neuivilette and the meluisines. Even as Focalor, Focalor's 'parent' was Egeria I think? And like- she dead. Her 'siblings'the other oceanids abandoned her and then she was like how can I make this worse? Split myself in two and make both of me stuff loneliness! :]
I'M RANTING SORRY- but I feel like she deserves more than Furina just going out and doing the performing arts in direction, acting or another way. It feels a bit... un-permanent. She has already had such a lasting impact that it feels like everything she does should make a impact to Fontaine. Even if now it's in a small unknown growing story. Not the lasting rations of festivals or movie culture to come (because you can't tell me this directory wouldn't be like our famous one shaping society, fashion, and generations if she was real). She should well find new happiness in a way that might just be completely alien. A real tie to this word. One that isn't dying before her for once.
Anyways now how would this child be? I don't know I'm not a time fictional changer person thing. But I would find it funny that Furina has to get used to being shoved around. With literally NO way to stop it because the problem is in you. No amount of praying to dead mirrow-you or crying in bed is going to get a this gremlin in you to stop kicking at you. Maybe she'd sign when no one was around and the baby would grow up with her same musical ear? Or as a dancer since they forget that her body isn't a stage.
I'd feel like maybe she'd have a very nervous time at the hospital with all the other people. She's grown to be a person slow to change unless when really needed or for her act. So the way people are talking to her all excited and touching her stomach (which okay one step back, two why isnt Clordaine over my shoulder any more- oh right...) while she herself is still getting used to the idea despite the constant reminders.
And when the time comes and she is shaking in bed with the buddle in arm she will throw all fear out the window and love them. She is a selfless person who threw her soul and mind into the storm moments after talking to Foaclor so I think that void of loneliness from over the years will be ate up by the sleeping baby. Here's someone who needs you and only you! Their live is in your hands but this time the failure isn't the damnation of a whole nation. It's just the hurt that you failed this little one in your arms.
Since Furian doesn't need to work she'd spent most of the time at home with her child. Growing in coffee, parenting books and cooking books. She only has a few years to figure this all out! She can't afford to do one thing at a time! Cook dinner (at 5am) while reading about parenting and rocking the baby! THERE'S NO TIME TO WASTE. If not at home till the baby is legally required to go to school, she might be with her mom traveling around or at the Palais Mermonia. Furian and Focalor wanted to be a normal human? What's more human than chasing your toddler down the street as they waddle away?
I'm not sure if she'd be protective of the child when they grew up. One on had she's no doubt seen the horror humans can do from the trials alone and did have a guard with her almost at all times when she was 'god'. She can't fight or defend herself or her child, at least not in a psychical way. She might be scared of letting her child alone, even with the gardemeks close by. She's heard stories of the time they failed. She knows they can fail. And while when they traveled a little to other nations she never strayed far from people and a tight grip on her child's wrist. But on the other hand what about their freedom. The books said everyone needs a little bit of freedom. She knows that herself. Even if she never had it for most of her life in the way she wants her child to have. So her actions might be flighty on both ends. Nothing knew if you look at her personality I suppose
I'd imagine though if she leaned her child was being bullied that contemplation goes out the window. Say maybe some kids are calling her child 'lady' jokingly because of her old title. (Which peole still call her by and by at this point she doesn't politely tell them to stop but gives a deadpan face. She has other problems to worry about and has given up almost on it.) She is a righteous women, so she won't do anything illegal. But... she is a influencal person. She knows it. She will use it. She'll also head to the principal with a liberally file for the case. She has infinite money and she did hire a top investigator without hesitation. She knows how this could go and she won't let it. No to mention all the other points she plotted against those who dare bulky her child. If mirror her could plan to defy literally fate and more she can sure as hell keep her child away from any parasitic children.
I'm going to leave this for now though I have more thoughts but I've been typing for a hour and I'm getting sleepy.
