okay but all this being said, here are two fics that feel very much in character to me:

this fic takes the tv show relationship and pushes it to new limits. aziraphale is an absolute bastard, and crowley is not having it (despite indulging him a little). the author takes moments that show-lovers will find familiar and turns up the heat to 11, integrating a power dynamic into their lifestyle as a whole.

Split between dreams of becoming an investigative reporter and familial duties he can't seem to outrun, Aziraphale Fell has carved himself a provisory niche: heading a newspaper column on hidden gems of cuisine and entertainment in London.
But when his boss orders him to step out of his comfort zone and feature a nightclub, Aziraphale is thrown into unfamiliar territory. Blindly, he stumbles upon Eden, a posh club at the bottom of a stairwell in an alley that, by all logic, shouldn't exist. There he finds red neon, total debauchery, and a strange, red-haired man—who dresses scandalously, speaks shamelessly, and moves in a way that feels somehow unnatural.
None of it ought to appeal to Aziraphale, and yet afterwards, he can't seem to get the encounter out of his head. What was that place? Who was that man? And why did it suddenly feel as if somewhere, the procession of fate had gone terribly awry?
there’s so much i could say about this story, as it is very well written and also very long. firstly, as you can probably infer from the title and the summary, crowley runs a night club called eden. crowley is also very very much a demon. he is scary. but he is also the crowley we know and love: protective, caring, and deep down, a little bit of a good person. one of the things i love about this fic is that aziraphale and crowley are both asexual! the e rated dynamic here is intense and explored in depth, but it’s based on sensation, connection, and enjoyment rather than attraction. very hot nonetheless. there’s plot, there’s leather and latex, and there’s love. mind the tags.
