I'm not a US citizen so admittedly I may be getting things wrong, but it sounds like once again it's all bullshit. Looks like they do have enough money to help with this hurricane, but might not have anything left for the next ones.
And guess why FEMA didn't get additional funding in the budget? Because it had to be cut out to avoid a shutdown. Republicans literally voted against it.
Funny how someone who's "undecided" is happy to spread that kind of garbage. Also, super helpful to those in distress, sharing shit that might make them think there's no point even applying for help.

It's getting even worse. I don't even want to screenshot the posts she's sharing, but I think it's undeniable at this point that despite claiming to be "undecided", Elle supports Trump, or at the very least is against the current Biden/Harris administration.
I think she's getting closer to Qanon territory by the hour. Those reposts about FEMA attacking people, and the government using the disaster to confiscate land, are dangerous and kind of unhinged. IIRC one of them was saying something like "we might need a militia to get things moving", why the actual fuck would she repost stuff like that when we all know what Trump's ilk are capable of?
I don't know where it's come from and whether she was always on that side of the political spectrum, but tbh based on experience I don't think anyone gets into that kind of conspiracy theories shit when they're happy and in good mental health, so my anger is kind of turning to sadness now. I'd always thought that she seemed quite grounded and that she'd had a good impact on Matt's paranoia; let's hope he hasn't jumped on the same crappy train and he's able to get her back.
These are the stories she's recently posted (only some of them) and yeah, definitely agree with you on the whole conspiracy theory thing. It's worrisome.

I’d also like to add, but tweets from like 2010-2016 from her are very racist, islamphobic and just vile. This is a very bigoted woman and the more we learn about the spilt the worse it gets.
