“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
Yet that dream isn’t coming true, the people of color are getting racially profiled in their neighborhoods, in their places of work, going grocery shopping.
“In ten years, in twenty years, in two years, they’re gonna be criminals. They were born to be criminals, frankly, and they’re tough, and they’re mean, and they’ll cut your throat, and they won’t even think about it the next day. They won’t even remember that they did it.” -Donald J. Trump.
That is our president talking about hispanics. Our PRESIDENT discriminating against innocent people just due to the color of their skin, or their tone of voice, their accent. That’s what we’ve come to. Children are kidnapped off of streets. Mothers and fathers are pinned to the ground and cuffed.
Our government is using military forces to stop large graded protests. Protesting is in our constitution.
