Miss Tanya is always interesting for me to think about. The way in which I’ve characterized her and breathed life into her is that her motives aren’t completely known other than her wanting to climb the ranks of whatever space she occupies– specifically that of Operation Penance– and to have her name have a certain power behind it. At surface level, her motives are very shallow and seemingly materialistic or even tangible, as she wants to win at all costs. shallow and that she’s just floating through life as it is. . . but perhaps there is an unspeakable meaning in what goes unsaid, and that is exactly her case.
She’s not the type to get traditionally angry in which it’s a bubbling effect, but that it is just a natural occurrence that happens as a result of a punishing grace– that we know to be violence. And even then she doesn’t get angry– she only gets even. She’s always strategizing in the moment instead of behind the scenes– her mind is a steady process instead of an engine that has a steady trajectory
She’s never fallen in love in the traditional sense in which she’s consumed by one person and that one person is consumed by her, as she has a love for all things as it is. She is the ideal that isn’t idealistic. So when she falls in love, she falls hard– very deeply and in a way that almost has the ability to change her at her roots but not so much that she loses her character and her ever-changing purpose. She's impenetrable but she doesn’t hide any secrets, she’s an open book that hasn’t been read yet. She’ll tell you her game plan and all the ways to beat her and then she’ll still win. She’s cocky and still not in your face with it, but she’ll show off if you ask her to . . .
Miss Tanya has the punishing finesse of a dominatrix but her hands are forgiving and ever so loving when it comes to where her heart resides; which is with her lover. She doesn’t wish to hurt you, but she wants to taste your flesh, all while you tell her how much you despise her mercenary ways and her critical nature. Or maybe she’ll hold all the reins— which is never a problem in her own eyes. She plays both positions fairly well after all.
Tattoos— A snake over her lower back. highly detailed & shows especially when wearing low cut jeans. Covering her tattoos isn’t necessary to her, she doesn’t care all that much for having her identity exposed since that’s what she wants after all. The only time she purposely covers her tattoo is when she’s donning her tight-fitting trench coats. Her style gets in the way, which is why she has a very punctual fighting style unless she’s fighting with less clothing.
Scars— Smaller ones yes, but not any really hyper-noticeable ones. what she wears on missions gets in the way from her having scars. leather is hard to get through when it’s quality.
Markings— A mole over the left top of her lip. the shape of a dime and pretty miniscule. She vibes like a sexy librarian. Piercings— A black anti-eyebrow in cones. She never takes this out and has never gotten it removed. Never afraid to fight with it, she accepts any flaw that she receives as a consequence. And wears it as a trophy, as she never loses afterall.

but she was only half of your impulse control and she fell victim to it too, especially in this heated moment that captivated the two of you, and had you sharing so easily.
and you can’t help but to whine as she rolls her entire body into you more firmly than before. since moving from being held against the kitchen counter so desperately- to her bed in a frenzied fashion, kissing all sloppy with passion and hands grasping at tangles of hair.
even in your heated desire there’s a kind of regret— and not because it doesn’t feel good to finally have her against you despite everything- because between you and love, it most certainly does. but only because you can’t help but to wonder if your skin will crumble under her roaming touch, falling apart to reveal your true nature. and all the monstrous parts of you that have consistently worn out by being drenched with a crimson red- a blessing in itself.
the color that you've tried so desperately to hide from her upon sudden revelation. covering up all the negatives and replacing it with the only positives you had left to give to her. distracting her from the future, whatever the opposite may have held in comparison to the present.
and she’s just as desperate as you are, maybe even more so as she strengthens the grip of her fingers that take their place on the back of your neck, and caressing the hair and skin there as her warm tongue covers your own- discovering the parts of you left undiscovered by her for the longest time…
she’s known you her whole life. but do you really know her at her core? is she really even your best friend? has she ever even truly been your best friend after all this time? they say friends make the worst enemies but albeit the great lovers. it never came to you that she'd have her own secrets to hide, with her basically being a jumping target for the world to see. but then she holds your hands together in her own, guiding them up against pasty sheets, until she's satisfied with the position she has you in.
she's above you, a small giggle leaving her kissed lips as she gazes down upon you in all your glory. her eyes shine at the sight... until there’s suddenly more pressure being applied.
more & more pressure than what is physically comfortable. her knuckles turning an obscene shade of white as her fingers burns marks into your skin from how tight the hold both hands have on you.
before you can even get a single word out from the discomfort there’s a crack, and that’s when you realize from plain ignorance— that it’s too late to dwell back into your thoughts…

BABYYYYYYY when I tell you these past few months have been a journey for me I'm not playing when I say that at all. However, I do plan to get Dressed With Red back in action as it should be and have it be consistent from there- because when I start something best believe I'm gonna finish it. I felt passionate about this project when I first started it, and I still do now. Just gotta keep the momentum going because once I start again I won't stop. I think about a lot of things. I think about the lack of female representation that actually gets down to the nitty gritty and isn’t all so very performative and lackluster like the stuff usually thrown around in the entertainment industry. I’ve always been inspired by women in Hong Kong who’ve been kicking ass since before I was even born and l’ve always adored spy and assassin films, also fight choreography that includes women, that being of mainly action films.
In terms of inspiration on an individual basis I specifically think of Mulholland drive, of Kill Bill, of Charlies Angels, of Pretty Little Liars, of Jennifer’s body, and etc etc.
I think of the themes of betrayal amongst female friendships, cutthroat and badass manipulative women in tv and in film, the final girl trope, women in horrors and thrillers, and just altogether being introspective of the uglier and more evil side of women, their individuality, and inner callousness.

you definitely can and I think that'd be a very interesting take character wise. Dressed With Red addresses the MC's mental health and if they are either healthy or unhealthy, as well as their trauma and etc.. so you get to take a look into the MC's mind and decide what the MC's thought process would look like so the possibilities are endless in this sense.

he'd be very patient, and unwavered by your sudden mood switches as he can relate in a way. he's usually very passive and stoic but once you invoke the fire, you just do. it also takes a lot to get him to calm down once he's fired up, but he does so anyway. he meditates a lot after all.
