You know what would've been an excellent storyline??? Robby coming back from his sabbatical and learning that Dr Samira "SlOw-Mo" Mohan is thriving under the supervision of an attending that doesn't talk down on her

i just found out that supriya said LAST MONTH that she was expecting to be in s3. and they have been writing season 3 for a WHILE. supriya oh supriya. this is fucking heinous HOW are they treating her this badly. how did they not tell her. WHY? it's not even disrespect of her character but her as a person at this point

also like. "the decision was story driven" is such a funny excuse like. you are writing the story

Y'know for a medical show that's all about diversity, they sure are writing off their woc characters more and more as the show progresses. Especially ones that advocate for the unfair treatment of poc patients 🫩

Also can we talk about THE Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi in this episode???? Saved a kid’s life doing a procedure she had never done in person (perfectly executed while also teaching it when even Robby was obviously too intimidated to try it) and refusing to take Garcia’s shit about “butchering” the cut because she knows she did that!!! And then also not scared to professionally, privately, and firmly call Robby out about his behavior with Samira??? Even while he was acting like a bit of a child about it?? Oh I love her BAD

robby can lash out in self-hatred and be a misogynist at the same time. robby can be written to be purposefully hypocritical and incidentally misogynistic at the same time. robby can be suffering from ptsd and be a misogynist at the same time. “actually the point is he’s lashing out because he sees himself in samira and hates it” correct. AND he’s being misogynistic while he’s at it
