dude i don't normally like to dig at peoples fun i generally think people having fun is good but it is slightly disheartening when there's a really really good story about a strong platonic relationship and then the only thing the fans can do is ship the characters or worse make a crack ship with an unrelated character from another media because it's like they can't STAND a lack of romance in media like they absolutely must try to insert romance where it is absolutely not needed or relevant and honestly sours the story/media a lot more for me or they'll Die because they can't just be happy with a really good platonic relationship. it makes me very sad as a demiromantic girlie.

i don’t support copyright law (mostly) but i do think people need to get comfortable with citing their sources and giving credit where it’s due

#i agree with the abolition of copyright law as an extension of the abolition of capitalism #otherwise yelling at people who want or need to monetize their work in a horrific economic system via exclusivity is stupid #like yes. the arts are inherently stunted by copyright law. but people dont copyright stuff like. for fun.#i DMCA people who repost my art because on multiple occassions ive had to sell emergency commissions #so i didnt go bankrupt #making my personal work exclusive to me and not allowing it to be reposted centralizes my “market”#(as much as i hate to call it that)#the concept of more people getting eyes on my art means nothing to me financially if they dont know where it came from #and i literally hate that we have to think about our art like this #but thats capitalisms fault. not artists being big greedy evil villains #except in the cases of like. corporations obviously.#bc while yes obviously disney has artists in its employ #they obviously do not struggle with monetization and localizing a market like individual small artists do #and their working artists get to use their association with them as a springboard for more work #tl;dr man i think it depends #pawtrodden
