im nonbinary and not ashamed of it or willing to allow myself to be put in one. which is reeeally annoying to people who think "TME/TMA" are at all useful tools for discussing trans issues. I Actually think gender is a social construct and I dont think men or women (trans people included) are "more" real or valid than any other gender or lack thereof. and binary trans people really really do not like when your trans activism centers nonbinary people explicitly so I presume thats why.

its crazy how much living with someone makes you get your shit together. when I lived on my own I couldn't even be bothered to keep food in my house much less do chores but every friday when I'm home alone and my wife is at work and I get to roleplay being her little housewife I could do literally anything. animals are fed. the chinchilla cage is clean. clean laundry is folded and put away and theres another load in the wash now. clean dishes are put away and dirty ones are in the dishwasher. dinner is prepped. im currently getting rid of some of our empty box clutter which im going to take out to the dumpster with the trash after i clean the cats litterbox. when I lived alone if you asked me to do even one of those tasks and gave me an entire day to do it I would have killed myself

me and my wife are so fucking hyped for the chris hansen biopic... i used to watch him a lot but my wife only recently got really into tcap (obligatory acknowledgement that I am aware the sensationalization of predator catching is detrimental to the cause nowadays, but tcap aired 2 decades ago and while it absolutely had its flaws it is admittedly entertaining to watch these men squirm) and we've been watching it a lot lately 😭 plus robert pattinson is like the one male actor I actually kind of respect and dont mind him being in everything because he puts his whole soul into every role he plays and its always so fucking entertaining. the accent hes doing is so fucking good. if you've watched any tcap or heard chris speak in general youd know he has a really specific cadence that he never drops and seeing pattinsons interpretation of it (mildly toned down to make the drama a bit more serious) is so tickling. but unfortunately I cannot find a normal way to tell anyone in my real life that im hyped for the pedophile movie about the guy who talks to pedophiles

"maybe you should stop complaining and just make the content you want to see" perhaps, the issue at hand, is that the proportion of people who are willing to be invested in female characters and create content centering them is already small compared to the people who will create novel-length backstories for male characters with 5 minutes of screentime, meaning that even if all people involved put in the same amount of effort, the amount of content around men will always be orders of magnitude larger, and perhaps the disproportionate focus on men in the first place may be indicative of some kind of pre-existing bias, one that may, hypothetically speaking, have some name already,
