Since I started my fitness journey 3 years ago, I cannot count the number of times that Iāve stumbled, had a bad food day that then turned into a bad week or even a bad month. Iāve missed workouts, Iāve had injuries that have put me out of action for months at a time. Iāve taken holidays, Iāve been out drinking, Iāve eaten at restaurants with friends and family for special occasions and Iāve always pigged out on my birthday/Christmas/pancake day/everyone elseās birthdayā¦you get the idea. After all of these events and after putting on a few pounds here and there Iāve always thought about how sometimes itās not worth all the effort, all the food prep, all the workouts but after feeling sorry for myself for a few days I always pick my shit up and start moving forwards again! I got a notification from facebook saying that the first picture was posted 3 years agoā¦and only then I did I realise how far Iāve actually come which is the sum of all those times I felt like giving up but then carried on instead! You hear this all the time but self improvement is definitely not always a straight line and itās never gonna work the way you want it to! But as long as you keep going for it youāll get there eventually! Still got a long way to go but Iām proud of how far Iāve come.
i love following you because i have a really similar body type to yourĀ ābeforeā pic- thanks for the motivation!
