Legally Blonde (the musical version) but gayer. I have gone through this in my head for the past 36 hours and finally wrote it down at 12:30 am filling three entire pages of my journal even though I've thought about it so much it's like it's actually a thing.

In case someone hasn't seen Legally Blonde and is interested in watching the original movie or the musical without spoilers, I would not continue because this gives the basis of the movie with small details changed.

Here are my points:

Everything is the same at the beginning. Elle is dating Warner, she's in Delta New (or however it's spelled. I'M SORRY), you get my point.

Then she meets Emmett at Harvard, except Emmett is actually Emily Forrest, a hardworking and clever lesbian. She still has all of Emmett's personality traits, she's just a girl instead of a guy.

Elle and Emily become quick friends when Emily begins helping Elle learn during "Chip On My Shoulder. " Our darlingest Emily is falling for Elle by the time Christmas rolls around and she's slightly jealous of Warner for all the attention he gets from Elle even though he low-key treats her like trash. Dear sweet Elle is oblivious to Emily's yearning.

"Take It Like a Man" needs to be rewritten in a way that it fits Emily, but it has the same basis. Elle begins to realize she has not at all platonic feelings for Emily, but she's ultimately chill with it. (In my head, I feel like she would just be like "Men are hot, women are hot. Aight, bet.") But obviously, Emily is being a useless lesbian and is panicking about how Elle is being so nice to her.

The Brooke Windum case happens and they discover my guy Archie is lying, and they're all vibing and then Callaghan kisses Elle and "Legally Blonde" is happening, but it's even more emotional because Emily hasn't told Elle that she's gay because she was worried about what Elle would say, but it doesn't matter anymore because EMILY NEEDS TO GET ELLE TO STAY DAMMIT. So it isn't only a proclamation of love, but also her coming out to Elle, which breaks Elle's heart even more because she had a chance with the first girl she's ever loved, but she still feels like she needs to leave.

Skipping to the part where Warner proposes to Elle, she says no, and obviously it's ultimately because she knows she can get through life without a love interest, but also because of Emily. She mentions "I was living in ignorant bliss, till I learned I could be more than this" which is originally just her knowing she considered her hair to be her only personality trait, but she's grown from that, but it's also now her saying that she was living her life without knowing about how she can also feel about women.

Paulette gives the "where are they now?" speech and then Elle goes "Oh and can you all give me one second before we all go? Emily Forrest please make me the happiest woman I know." And Emily is freaking out because she loves her brilliant blonde girlfriend more than anything in the world and so she's crying and nodding, which is also making Elle emotional, but everyone is happy and so supportive of our girls.

the level or strength of the potion doesn’t have any particular sort of effect on how severe the look is, though mixing two or more potions (for example, a strength and slow falling potion) results in eyes that seem to swirl with both/all the colors that come with those potions

I know that quite a few people have addressed the fact that The Guitar’s Serenade lines up with events we learn of in Spirit of Justice, so I decided to do an analysis of the lyrics:

Jove died in 2005 meaning that Thalassa lost her innocence at a very young age. She was only nineteen years old when her husband and infant son died. Lamiroir tries desperately to cling to her happiest thoughts, but remembers nothing before the age of 30, all she can draw to her mind is vague memories of herself soaring through the air in her “final moments.” However, in her current state she doesn’t recall what these memories were, describing it as a “melody” referring to Jove’s career as a musician.

While flying through the air practicing Zak and Valant’s Quick Draw Shoot ‘Em a fatal error occurs in the trick. Thalassa is shot by one of her fellow magicians. The bullet is fired and takes Thalassa Gramarye’s life. She is stripped of everything that makes Thalassa herself, leaving only Lamiroir in her place.
