The Doll, priorly some sort of Imp by the look of things, doesn't react. But Dolly is still very much in earshot and thus calls back. "Don't compliment the smile!" A little tense in her speech there. Having the inability to animate her expression would leave a sore spot after all.
Dolly returns with a simple cheese sandwich and a glass of water, setting them on a small side-table so he can set them down between bites and sips. "There. Should avoid the issue of any nausea."
โOh... yeah, suppose an eternity of it would get... uh, tiresome after a day or two, huh? Sorryย โbout that...โ He looked over the cheese sandwich, realizing that he hadnโt really given Dolly a reference for his favored type of food, apart from their one lunch date. Still, food was food. Down it went, devoured in two bites.
โBut yโgot lovely hair, though, no denyinโ that. Believe me when I say itโs probably the loveliest hair Iโve seen in my life... or death. But maybe thatโs the booze talking.
